As we all know. We love Lux invicta with all our solar hearts, and that we would lay down our lives in defense of it (Metaphorically of course )

But as a inspiring historian/lore fanatic such as myself. I started this thread to, share our love for Shay's masterpeice of lore, indepth Religous thought and worldbuilding talents. So tell me fellow Lux fanatics. Which part of the wonderful Lux lore do you love?

the very first things I noticed when I first found this mod and looked around were these:
a) the SPQR!!!
b) Carthage!!!
c) King Arthur('s descendants)!!!
d) a Crusader Kingdom!!!

xD

(though time-line wise, my favourite parts involve the Sword of Victory and the rebellions involving it :D )

I myself am a sucker for the indepth spirtural/religons that are in lux. Reading about them, and there teachings and historical background is "divine" to me :p

What sucked me in was learning about the immense amount of religions and the real bits of history and lore that inspired them. Lux lore makes its religions seem as important and consequential to cultures and the development of a history in the same way that Christianity or Islam is measured in our contemporary History.

I also love the ridiculously massive buildings system. It's really hard going back the vanilla buildings after playing Lux.

What drew me in at first was the presence of a Western Roman Empire. After that, it was the time and effort spent by Shaytana on the back story which created a ridiculously awesome world, filled with historical "what-ifs" that I, as a historian love to play around with.

The fact that Julian the Apostate is anything but in the Lux Timeline and was a badass Christian fighting Emperor. That's assuming Julian II was Julian the Apostate in OTL
