Are you just going to play, or are you intending to write an AAR continuing from this? Anyway, I can post the save, check back a bit later.
I think I'd play that save - then have France DoW the Allies and the USSR and go for an alt-WWII AAR. Though I wouldn't be able to use the USA, Greater Canada is a possibility . . . so is Allied Japan.

When starting the game, go to options and choose "democracy can start war".
I am aware of the option, I just do not use it since it spoils my pleasure of playing with France. I like to struggle with the sliders to be able to declare war on Germany as soon as possible and win the following struggle. Sometimes you get lucky and can ignore a complaining ministers... You see what I mean 
I did it on Vanilla and also on C.O.R.E. Armaggedon. Was tougher in C.O.R.E. due to the shortage in petroleum.
