Currently playing as Jianzhou and in my attempt at getting "A Manchurian Candidate" achievement. The strategy so far is to grow large as a tributary of Ming and break my status as tributary when Ming has just done a celestial reform to maximize the loss of mandate. My question is, by forming Manchu are you still able to trigger the UNF disaster? If i remember correctly you change into a despotic monarchy, which should prevent you from triggering the disaster. The wiki says nothing about the change in government, but several older threads talks about it.

Can any of you help me figuring out which is correct?
