Radicalism and Resistance during WWII​

Welcome to the Principality of Siegelbach, circa 1940.

A small, liberal principality on the border of Switzerland and Germany, Siegelbach was one of the first to fall before the Nazis and continues to labor under occupation. The ailing Prince Franz is held in captivity while the Siegelbacher people suffer under a military occupation more brutal and exacting then most; primarily for the fierce underground Resistance which continues to take the fight to the occupiers. The minuscule Jewish population of the Principality has already been sent off to God-knows-where and many fear that they may be next.

You are a member of the Resistance. Your sole aim in life is to make the life of the average Nazi as miserable as possible, so that the Germans will decide they have bigger fish to fry and get the hell out of the one-horse town you call mein vaterland. Create a character using the following template:

and then get to work. Each character, either alone or working with others, sends me orders for a six-month period. They may encompass anything from bombings, to assassination attempts, to throwing rocks through windows and pouring sugar in German engines. Each action is rolled to determine its success, and whether or not you get caught. For each successful action, Discontent Level rises on a 1-5% scale. If the DL reaches 100% then an open rebellion breaks out; which then succeeds or fails. If it succeeds, the game is over. If it fails, DL drops like a stone, a few characters die, and it's back to square one. Turns will last six months, at the end of which the occupation authorities (me) will release a confidential report of the recent actions taken by the Resistance; and the various players can either co-ordinate and build on whatever successes there may be, or keep going their separate ways.

This game is meant to be pretty low-effort and intensity, and is not primarily IC-based although any IC is of course welcome. Please adhere to forum rules re: Nazis, swastikas, etc, etc. I don't want to get in trouble and neither do you.
