This is AMSTAR.
Or rather, it will be soon. A nation sim.

Note that I can be persuaded to use a map with different nations. This is just one option.

I kinda just want to leave this out there to catch attention and post the nitty gritty a bit later on.

Other possible maps include, but are not limited to...

so I can always move countries around if there is one particular thing you have your mind set on. Keep in mind though; trends. You'll notice that most of these maps have the same few countries; that's because I'm attached to them, and those ones are far less likely to change.

Looks interesting. So, is this set in 2014, or is that just the name?

Edit: I like 4 and 5 best, but I don't understand why the US hates France in the timeline of 4. Are they communist and I missed it?

I think one of the reasons this isn't getting attention is the name. "Amstar 2014" doesn't exactly scream nation-sim.

I added forum game to the front of the name, might help with attention.

While this looks interesting, without stats, it's difficult to have a feel for the game. PoP was also a very cool idea, but less than concrete stats, and general misunderstanding of direction (mostly the latter) the game died before turn one. So with nothing more than maps, there isn't much to really see. People will need to see a more defined idea before they'd be willing to play.

Not even stats, but just some inkling of what sort of game you want to play. I assume from the name that you want to set it in an analogue to the present-day, but is that so? From the maps, you want some sort of alternate history, but what is the alternate history, and how "alternate" is alternate? What kind of setting do you want to put it in? What do these blobs on the map actually represent as far as the people living in them, the governments that run them, the interactions between themselves and other countries? As far as gameplay, do you want to have it as a stat-driven rules-based game or freeform? Do you have game orders or actions based on posts, submitted by PM or in the public thread? Do you delineate by game turns? Without some idea of what kind of game this is, the "nitty-gritty" as you term it, I apologize, but I'm afraid that all it looks like is a bunch of maps posted for review rather than a game.
