The first defence line in Breaks after three hundred tanks are used as spearhead to cross the trenches near Ranchi. With Indian Aerial control bengali forces are in disarray in the North. In West Bengal surprisingly the lines held with massive amount of casualties for the Bengali red army to slow down the Indian Advance.

August:

-Indian Intelligence had underestimated the lengths of the Bengali paranoia and fortifications after high losses to mined camps and and fortification after fortification have to be taken by the bloody hands of bengal. Mass mobilization starts in bengal as people in border regions are handed rifles and send to fight like they can the Indian fascist menace.

-Massive battle for ranchi as indian forces finally dislodge the Eastern Red army from the original defence lines. Bengali Command already assured of chinese intervene attempts to buy time stalling Indian efforts, after a month combat and over two hundred thousand casualties the ERBA retreats signaling the lost of Jharkhand province.

-In Bihar, Bengali resistance continues as hundreds of thousand of mobilized peasants are used to reinforce the Northern red army near the frontlines and trenches of Banka and purnea. The lines are broken by the end of the month as a massive tank battle involving four hundred indian tanks and near half the bengali tanks eliminates any armored threat for the invaders. With the blockade broken the indian fleet retreats as it begins to fight to defend their shipping and coast from submarines attacks of the japanese and indian submarine fleet now based of bengal.

One of teh many many flooded areas of West Bengal
-Over fifty thousand marines of the PRC are deployed and provide quick aid to the battle of Kharagpur, where indian and chinese pilots would clash in mass for the first time. Even though ultimately unsuccessful the battle shows the end of unrestricted air control is over and that the war will drag on as result.

-Bihar and jharkhand are completely subdued as the last remnants of the bengali forces retreat to the new defensive lines in bangladesh western bengal.

October:

-PRC forces would begin their assault against indian forces in the border, ultimately it would devolve into brutal mountain combat but they would not be able to penetrate the defense even with thousands lost in the mountains.

-Over a million chinese men cross the border of Bengal and begin moving to support the bengali forces fighting in the west.

-New models of weaponry ar begin to be seen in the indian offensive likely german designs finally reaching the frontlines as war economy is enacted in India proper.

-Battle of Kolkata begins, a defeat here means an open bangladesh to be conquered.

-reinforcement are slow to arrive for indian forces thanks to chinese attacks on supply lines, resistance movements and just plain terrible terrain, the lost of sea control hampers operations.

-Indian fourth and fifth army begin to be attacked i Khalghat as counteroffensive carried by the chinese keep pushing. Paratrooper forces manage to blow up the connecting bridge allowing retreat for the indian forces now overwhelmed numerically, using tanks and their air force the counter offensive is stopped in Panskura by a mix of trenches and using tanks as small fortification and hard points. Across the frontlines the appearance of trenches is noticeable to stop the now now growing communist forces. numerical communist.

-Mobilization efforts in indian begin producing their first units fast as near a million men begin reaching the trenches and fortified positions. Communist forces now believed to number over five million reaching the frontlines fast.

European front

July:

-The first few weeks of the war declaration between the two hegemonic blocs are quit in the ground as forces were call up and readied for battle. Much of July was dedicated mainly to aerial warfare and bombardment and both sides attack nearby military installation and attempted to begin limited bombing of industrial areas, yet with heavy aerial presence it was not yet to be exactly successful.

-By the third week of July the germans began their offensive in the baltic countries. Launching a much bigger offensive than expecting and locating more aerial support that expected the german armed forces began to overwhelm the baltic SSRs and soviet forces located on it as the soviets dedicated much of their defences and aerial forces to romanian battles and hungarian/polish borders.

-Kaunas felt by the end of the end of the week as RIga was put under siege by the german forces, showing the Baltic SSR armed forces were much badly equipped than previously thought and and strengthened.

-In Romania however the soviet were waging a much more effective warfare, Using much heavier air support almost a million man from the Ukraine forcer and 5-10th army the Soviets with their romanian allies Overwhelmed the german attempt at the third battle of Bucharest and began their own offensive into bulgaria with some 300,000 men and over a 1000 tanks. With the Support of the mighty Black Sea Fleet , the bulgarian naval assets were quickly neutralized and Varna Taken by a combined naval/land assault and with it the northeastern part of bulgaria was lost.

-In Polish border neither side was willing to attack, as they entrenched themselves in artillery fights reminiscence of the World War one era.

August.

-Italian, Serbian, Bulgarians, Montenegrin, Albanian , yet not greek forces are rushed to meet the Soviet Offensive into Bulgaria as near a million hungarian-german-Croatian Force attempt to stop the Soviet Offensive into Romania. Counter attack is hampered by Romanian uprisings and non cooperation with the iron Legion as the repression escalates, leading to the necessity of uprising quelling and purgings, Hundreds of thousands fled to join the rebel forces.

-Air Warfare is in full swing as the superior numbers of the german air force battle the better trained men of the soviets. Dozens of planes are lost daily as whoever control the skies wrestle the victory.

-The siege of Riga continues as the encirclements is finished trapping near 200,000 soviet defenders inside of the city.

-In Vilnius a major defeat is caused against the soviets as 150,000 Lithuanian and belarussian SSR soldiers surrender and defect to the german forces, giving up the defence of the city and overwhelming the rest of the defenders in an unexpected turn of events.

-Romanians uprising in western Hungary couple with soviet offensive open up the Hungarian Front as soviets capture Cluj.Napoca, the defeat costing near 75,000 men to the hungarian forces and some third of their armored forces.

September

-In Bulgaria, the Soviet offensive is definitely defeated in Veliko Tarnovo, where the near 300,000 soviet forces accompanied by 1000 tanks are hammered by near a million Italian and allied forces. The soviet force is definitely routed as the counter attack with almost the triple of tanks and double of men overwhelm the soviet forces, the first major defeat in the balkans, leaving almost 100,000 death and half the armored forces destroyed. Soviet air force would be instrumental in rescuing the retreating forces and slowing the pursuing balkan forces. Opening up the entire southern front to counter attack. The balkan forces would pursue relentlessly, trapping much of the bulgarian offensive in Varna and Threatening to cut off major supply lines to the romanian cutting off major supply lines of the soviets into west Romania.

-Major counter offensive by german and allied forces in Hungary and Romania are undertaken pushing back the soviets from Hungary.

October

-Varna is Evacuated by the black sea in mid october rescuing almost 150,000 men from the balkan forces. Bucharest would be taken in a surprise offensive by the Italian-Albanian forces cutting off 150,000 men and 200,000 romanian rebels in the Criojava front putted against 150,000 romanian loyalist and 600,000 germans.

-With Riga Falling to the German offensive and the german army advancing towards Minks, The Polish front finally began moving again as the german-polish forces totalling 1.5 million and 2000 tanks launch and all out offensive to accompany the attacks against belarus SSR from the Baltics.

-The Hungarian offensive is called off as retreat is ordered from Romania and Hungary to a more defensible position, the forces in western Romania attempt to break the Encirclement to no avail and are annihilated, ending the romanian uprising proper (with 100,000 men escaping with the retreating Soviet offensive).

November.

-German-Italian-Bulgarian-Croatian-Hungarian-Albanian-Montenegrin-Serbian forces expel the soviets forces from all romanian/hungarian territory as they began an offensive against moldavia SSR.

-Chisinau is taken mid november, meanwhile Odessa is put under siege.

-The month long battle of Lviv becomes the biggest armored engagement in recent history with near 2500 fascist tanks and almost 500,000 men fighting 1,000,000 soviet and 4000 tanks. It would come up with a german victory even if with a great cost to the air force to keep the skies controlled against air defences and soviet relentless pilot. Soviet forces in Ukraine would be shattered with the defeat. Collaborators and ukraine defectors would immediately begin to appear with the promises of a free ukraine announced by german authorities.

December

-With the defeat in Lviv, the baltic defence collapse as german-polish forces put Minks under Siege. All is though lost as soviet retreating forces need reorganization to put a defence and counter attack yet the german give no time, battle and battle given no matter the losses to avoid a repetition of WW2.

-Hope returns as near half a million korean soldiers hits Riga and quickly overwhelm the german defenders, couple with the arrival of some 600,000 men from the soviet far east forces, minks is liberated, as korean forces quickly strom Vilnius, and liberate the baltics, before the germans can react, The retreating German forces are annihilated in Klaepedia with a daring and surprise attack by the northern wing of the Korean as the river Nemunas and Neman become the new northern frontier. German counter attack fail to dislodge the Korean, using the river and healthy amount of AT guns, portable and S-300 missile systems force the german to remain in the other side of the river.

- Even so this hope is not the end of the war of course German and italian forces take Kiev in the last week of the month and force the capitulation of Odessa defenders in december after a brutal christmas bombardment breach the defence lines. The arrival of recruits and eastern forces slow down german advance as both side begin receiving the quickly mobilized population, Minks once more put under siege by a reinforced german army in december 28 becoming the new frontline once more.

Froom now on remember to build tanks and so on..though when full mil production who knows how many you can build, just give an estimate of what you want and i will write.

Excerpt from an unknown Indian Soldier's Diary and Letters, Part I

"12th of June, 2007

We are being prepared for what General Nirmal Chander calls the last war against communism. He is also the main man behind the this operation and a great tactican, or so we are told. He likely is due to him being the Chief of Army Staff and seemingly he fought in the War against Communism in the 60s and 70s. I have a feeling that this war will be bloody.

20th of June, 2007

We are now near the border and we can spot troops movement on the Bengal border. They sure had plenty of troops near the border already. I was also amazed by the many of our troops one our side. Sure I knew it was militarized, but I didn't think it to this extent. I also saw some of our tank regiments; there must be over a thousand of those wonderful machines. The offensive was to begin in early July. I don't hope that the Monsoon is too harsh this year.

15th of July, 2007

I am behind the front lines after many weeks at the front, where I have been to busy to write anything. The battles are fierce but we have succesfully beaten back the Bengali Red Army. I am however worried about the Chinese supposed mobilization and fear that they might hamper much of our offensive.

Undated, believed to be mid-August

Who could believe that a breakthrough in Ranchi would be so ruthless. As I marched through the city on patrol, the RSS accompained/instructed by the secret police forced whole families out on the street and shot them dead. When I asked why this brutality had to happen, the said that they were dangerous communist partisans. The young girl did not seem like anyone who had any understanding of politics and innocent. Her face is hardwired into my brain now. Her face, completely white and her eyes full of fear. Surely the communist would do the same as us. But this brutality is unneeded in my opinion.

27th of August, 2007

While being in the field hospital due to a minor injury my comrades have seemingly forced a rout of Bengali troops, which is why we have to move forward. I can move myself, as it was my arm that was hit. Others with injuries in their legs, backs and heads have a harder time, even though they get help.

5th of September, 2007

I am finally ready to fight again, but it is raining and the poorly constructed Bengali infrastructure is turning into hellholes of mud. Even though this mud is annoying, we have to march onwads.

20th of September, 2007

I was severely wounded at the battle of Kharagpur and I'm being send back to India proper for treatment. The doctors told me that I'd be ready for the front again early in the new year. Even though I would like to defend India against the communist scourge, it is nice with a break from brutal fighting and cruel reality of the war."

CNN 2007 Summary

America

United States

In hopes to lessen the great effect upon the resource markets, the so hated South african embargo would have in the economy, the American government turns towards Venezuela, greatly investing over the year in supporting their oil extraction and capabilities, which benefit venezuela greatly especially as oil prices begin growing and growing with the start of WW3.

A fleet of 1 supercarrier, 5 nuclear subs, 30 destroyers, and 7 missile cruisers is deployed to establish the “quarantine” of Brazil, in face of their rampant aggression, action that would be responded in kind by the brazilians. Routine flights are taken over the mobilizing brazilians to remind them America was unbeatable.

Brazil

78xLKwF.jpg

Brazilian Conscripts training in one of the many makeshift training camps around the nation
Brazil begins mobilizing his economy for war, in a phased up program designed to slowly mobilize the economy for war and lessen the effect, the industries of the country began transforming to support the war effort as the economy beginned to dry up with the american “quarantine” of the country crashing the exportations of the country.

The Brazilian factories began producing german equipment and vehicle as blueprints and designs are freely given by germany to modernize their industry, meanwhile things like planes are very difficult to imitate, other like small arms etc aren't.

A general call for mobilization is declared as thousands begin to be armed for the upcoming war, a great tension arrived after an american strike plane is shot down by brazilian pilots tired of the crashing economy and the american believe they can do all they desire, even though the army hoped for mobilization of near 2.5 million men. Many resist, after all there is no war going on and with economy struggling many wonder if it's such a good idea. In any case some 700,000 men are mobilized by the end of the year, which greatly alarm The argentine republic whom begin deployment of much of their assets to the frontiers and partial mobilization of their forces for the likely coming war with some 150,000 men mobilized towards the border.

Colombia

The shiny new communist Treaty of the ALBA is signed by all countries asked to do so, as they begin to enact tariffs and other measures between them promoting grow as they can finally export to new markets easily. Other meetings are arrangement to enact some lesser known points. It is noted not far from the signing of the treaty that the Ejercito Zapatista de Liberacion Nacional (EZLN) began showing up with bigger and heavier equipment against the forces of the mexican government in southern mexico and yucatan.

Colombian arm firms begin increasing the production of equipment as well slowly transform to longer and longer working hours. Consumer goods began to be supported by the government as more lines begin opening around the year, some mention is akin to slow and hidden semi economic mobilization.

Asia

State of Japan

In accordance with the referendum and to calm detractors, the korean language is given regional status as secondary language in Jeyu, as well a commissioned set up for the preservation of the true korean traditions and costumes, unlike the communist revisionist.

Tax incentive and upright subsidies are granted in japan to new business, the program main goal is to help people start their own small business as well launch their own start up companies. Being widely successful especially among the young in the country, that severely needs economic movement with the rising prices of commodities.

North japan

wMJCGnA.jpg

New North Japan Infantry Recruits
The north japanese navy unveiled its latest combat submarine, the first locally designed and built nuclear submarine. Many whisper production was rushed and likely not as well constructed and all flaws ironed but that is soon silenced. (nuclear subs design completed, 1 build)

With tensions around the world rising, and to calm down the furious generals the armed forces are expanded with the integration of 10 new infantry division and order to build 200 new combat tanks.

DPRK
The dprk begins their mobilization for total war as the economy shift to produce good, weapons and materials to sent the million men force marching to defeat the evil of fascism in europe. Propaganda goes in full force as the brave men of Korean are depicted as bringing civilization and enlightened to the dark lands of europe.

PRC

The Treaty of Karachi is ratified as troops begin to withdraw from independent hong-kong

The defence budget substantially grows over the year to allow for the continued development of locally design parts and ships for the naval forces as well improved weaponry for the marine forces.

The recruitment drive in the PRC for all-Volunteer force to fight against teh fascist menace and protect the bortehrs and sisters of bengal are a great succes, with near a million men and woman enrolling to fight in the trenches of bengal, the pay increase, promise of ranks, and better benefits surely made many to think it was a good deal, especially since few news (only victories) have come from bengal itself and with many needing jobs in teh PRC. (+100 Infantry divisions which can be used to fight in bengal)

Bengal

In bengal, “indian” spies are used to demonstrate the inferiority of the fascist, and their evil. The uprising is used as propaganda against listening to them as bodies from the front arrive in masses, spreading the idea resistance is the only possible thing to do.

In the core industrial areas of Dhaka the growing factories to support the bengal forces as well produce all necessary for the war continue the industrialization of the nation, even if it's thanks to a war for their very existence. Heavy air defences begin to be deployed by bengal and chinese forces in the industrial complex keeping whatever supplies they can gather being build.

Republic of Pakistan

eoSH5zk.jpg

Pakistani Workers in one of the new electronic factories
Pakistan State Electronics is founded over the year, with the goal to promote the growing electronic industry of pakistan, producing low quality yet cheap electronics to sell inside the country and even begin exporting to poorer nations, may be signaling where the economy of the country is headed.

In a surprising move the peace loving prime minister order and gets approved the expansion of the Pakistani armed forces greatly. Almost 500,000 more men are called to join the armed forces as some new 500 tanks are being produced in the country or abroad to be able to achieve production desired. Specially the build up of the air forces, bying some 10 new strike fighter wings and 5 air superiority wings, mainly with orders to japanese, british and american air defense contractors to be able to build such quantity.

India

The Indian Ocean Economic Zone Treaty. Is signed and immediately begin the retooling dn mobilizing of the indian manufactured base for the war.

Great amounts of money, even with the war going on are allocated to something called 'Sunbittern Project'., not many know what it is but is believed to be in the defence of the nation (¼)

Middle East

South Yemen
The Central Committee of the Yemeni Socialist Party sets up a commission to study the current economic situation of the country. Interesting discoveries are done, with most of the country poor and uneducated, it is believed markets reforms would greatly help as well other reforms.

Socotra islands receive reinforcements as well further fortifications, with close meeting between the South Yemeni government and the Ethiopian and Djiboutian government done early on the year to prepare themselves in case warfare gets out of the area current confined to.

Arabi
a

HbCCQd3.jpg

Arabian Soldiers in War-Games
In arabia efforts to continue improving the dismaying forces of the Republic continue to show promise as new batch of cadets begin graduating the academies and bringing their knowledge to the armed forces.

Using the excuse it's needed for times of war, the president of Arabia begins a new project to expand the infrastructure and communication of the peninsula, with great roads and railroads to move cargo, with the prices of oil going up and up, there is no fear of impossibility to pay for all the great works planned and under construction.

Africa

Nigeria
With the embargo on South Africa by most, except the united Kingdom, of the west and increasing resource prices, launch a motivation to invest in africa by foreigners using that the nigerian government increase their concession to foreign states in exchange for investment in infrastructure and job making, helping greatly the nation as it began to happens.

With backing of the nigerian government the new program, to connect to the internet networks of the west begins, as the state subsidize the network expansion by companies as well to reduce price fro accessibility of the everyday nigerians, it works wonders in the big cities, even if much of the rural lands expansion hasn't been noticed much.

Europe

Germany

DhZPhIU.jpg

German Conscrips Training before being ship out to the Ukraine Front

The Republic of Germany signs the indian treaty with Australia and india giving license of weapons production to both in exchange for easier market introduction, linking more and more australia to the fascist war effort against the communist as their resources feeds the war machine of india.

Italy

With the war going on, the italian government announced a tax increase termed the War and Peace tax, the same is announced to finance the end of the communist menace as well eternal peace and happiness for the kingdom. The tax which is around 7.5% goes directly to fund the great deficit of the state.

UK

The commonwealth begins what is called, the general modernization and development of native equipment. Coordinating between the states and with an enormous budget (as it's drawn from all members) massive new designs begin to be evaluated for production and deployment as well improvements: some names now being heard are new tanks: the Challenger 2 MBT and the stop-gap Challenger mk III and its lighter compatriot the Vickers MBT mk.9; Armored IFV's / APC's: Howe - armed with a 40mm chaingun + Vickers Vigrant ATGM's, Vickers mk.11 ; Artillery: AS-90. British modernizing equipment

The commonwealth treaties are ratified bringing closer the members to unified military command as well economic policy in the face of fascist and communist all out war, and helping the UK economy to recover from the shock of the australian republic.

Other News

-In panama a plot to destroy the canal was detected and stopped before it could happen. A chinese trading ship was approaching the canal from the atlantic sea, which launched all kind of alerts, after all why would a chinese ship do that? There is no way it's coming from the atlantic. After being asked to stop to be search on the ship crew refused to comply with the demands, attempts to board it resulted in small arms attack as such it was neutralized by helicopter attack and boarded, before being arrested the crew detonated explosive inside the ship sinking it and killing the boarding party.

One of the few pictures of the believed South African Mercenaries in Djibouti

-The Somali regime, supported by South african weapons have begun the long wished last step in the unification of all the Somali tribes by the invasion of Djibouti. The highly trained but low on numbers forces of Djibouti did their best to slow down or defeat the invaders but armed with South Africa vehicle and tanks, plus big number superiority they were overwhelmed in a month combat. It is too special note, a dare landing in Djibouti city and other coastal towns as well the sudden lost of the border town of Galafi to Ethiopia by a quick paratrooper assault, when many though somalia could not do this greatly damaged the backlines of the Djibouti forces and made impossible a quick reinforcement by neighbors. Combined with an uprising of the Somali people when the Greater Somalia forces crossed the frontier made impossible to resist.

As of now 1 division of special trained troops have escaped the country with the government to the lands of eritrea as Greater Somalia occupies the entire small country. The baffling military attacks and now the reports coming that white soldiers have been seen in the country give the suspect that South African Mercenaries are supporting the Somali Offensive, in what numbers is unknown at the time.

In South Sudan, the White Army refuse Peace agreements, prompting the South Sudan Goverment to agree to the Prexcence of Peace Keepers from the AU in the country. Troops mainly from Nigeria and Ethiopia would arrive to the country. Once in the Affected area they would be attacked as enemies by white army fighters prompting respnse to the act as goverment forces and peace keepeers begin battling the would be rebels. Around twenty thousan troops (1 division from Nigeria and One from Ethiopia) have been deployed.

Wierd sismic activity is detected in southern europe, with a 6.5 earthquakes happening near france/switzerland/italian border.

General Command of the Army and Armed Forces

The PDRY will not stand idle as our socialist brothers in Djibouti come under fascist aggression. The land, aerial and naval forces of the PDRY will immediately go on full combat readiness to counter this recent fascist attempt to gain control of the region. The General Command warns that all naval traffic passing through the Bab al-Mandeb and the Gulf of Aden via PDRY territorial waters may be stopped for inspection by PDRY naval forces. The General Command recommends that citizens and vessels of third countries avoid the region due to these tensions, and that all foreign nationals who haven’t yet left Djibouti will do so as soon as possible. Let it be assured that aid will be provided to the legitimate Djiboutian government in their bid to regain control of their territory from the fascist Somali occupiers.

The State of Brazil strongly condemns the intrusion of Brazilian airspace by American Imperialists and demands an apology for said actions. Brazil will not have its sovereignity undermined. The American fighter pilot currently held hostage by the State of Brazil will be executed for his crimes and those of his countrymen against the Brazilian nation if the United States of America does not immediately remove itself from Brazilian waters and air permanently within the next 6 weeks.

The United Republic of Arabia formally condemns the efforts of the communist state of South Yemen to undermine the unification of the Somali people and disrupt trade via unlawful searches of civilian vessels. It once again it has been made clear that the threat of communism is all to present within the Arab World and that like in Lebanon and Europe it continues to promote conflict and division. Let it be known that Arabia shall not stand for these wanton acts and supports the efforts of the Somali people in combating communism on their borders.

The Republic of Nigeria joins the world in outrage at the acts of the heinous and evil Somali government. Not only do the actions of the Somalian government greatly undermine and destroy peace and prosperity on the African continent they also threaten to plunge an entire continent into war. The Nigerian government gives Somalia 1 week to withdraw all of its forces from the Republic of Djibouti or Nigeria and Djibouti will call upon Article 1 subsection 2 of the African Union charter which will call all signatories of the AU to war against Somalia. Finally Nigeria announces that its forces will be placed in an advanced state of readiness. Nigeria also calls upon the traditional protectors of freedom in the world, America, China, Great Britain and even Pakistan to supply more advanced planes and other forms of weaponry so that Nigeria and its allies in the AU can continue to ensure prosperity and peace across the African continent.

It is with no surprise that we receive this message from the tyrannical and communist lands of Nigeria and their corrupt leaders. As its the will of our president, pur nation and more importantly the Somali people, our invencible armies shall not abandon what is righfully the lands of the Somalies. We Ask the international community to meditate peace, for if not our ever victorious armies shall shed the blood of the thousand montsers trying to destroy us, We will no longer accept to be divided as the colonialista nd imperialist powers did, one country, one people GREATER SOMALIA!.

At the AU headquarters in Lagos dark clouds covered the sky. Tidal waves of rain fell down onto the city as policy makers scrambled to react to Somalia's invasion. President Ismail Omar Guelleh was patched in over a video monitor from Addis Ababa. The Djiboutian president was a petty man, former head of Djibouti's secret police he was the nephew of the country's first President and had controlled the nation through the army and secret police, his story was not uncommon in Africa. He read his speech out loud over the monitor in front of the assembly of AU representatives. For almost forty minutes he begged the assembly to summon all of its strength and to deal a death blow to fascism in the Horn of Africa. He called upon article one subsection two of the AU charter guaranteeing the territorial integrity of all signatories and demanded action be taken. When it came time to vote Ethiopia and Nigeria were among the loudest to voice their support for intervention. Many of the other communist countries joined the chorus however some nations like Botswana showed reluctance to get involved. There was a widespread fear that South Africa would react violently should Somalia be threatened. However President Obsanajo refused to allow Africa to be held hostage. He stated that "In the event we lose this vote in the African Union, Nigeria will still stand by the small nation of Djibouti in resisting Somalia's blatant acts of aggression." And for now it seems that before 2008 is out most of Africa will be at war.

The 2007 Election in Pakistan

The outcome of the latest election in Pakistan was never much in doubt. Prime Minister Bhutto's policies had been viewed favourably by most sections of society. Leading right up to the election, her approval for a large expansion of the military gained her support among the military and placated cries for Pakistan's involvement in the Second Indo-Bengali war, while her creation of Pakistani State Electronics gained much support from socialists and those with an eye to domestic growth. Combined with her highly popular previous policies and actions, notably brokering a peace between the People's Republic of China and the United Kingdom, it was expected that her party, the PPP, and its coalition partner, the PTI, would gain in seats. Some even called for the Prime Minister to receive a Nobel Peace Prize for her work.

As expected, the PPP and PTI gained seats, 6 and 18 respectively. Also unsurprising was that the PCL lost 10 seats, PML lost 6, and 8 fewer members of the National Assembly were part of smaller parties or independent. Between them, the PPP and PTI now had 228 seats in the National Assembly, out of 389 total, over 58% of the Assembly. The general support for the current governing policy was apparent, however the large gains by the PTI signified the main vote shift in favour of the centrist wing of the coalition. PTI was gaining particularly vocal support in favour of a war against the fascists in India, to liberate it. Even many in the PPP, normally opposed to war, were supportive of such a move, considering the involvement of the PRC in the war already. While the PPP remained the senior member of the coalition, and the PTI wouldn't jeopardize their position by trying to work with the PML and PCL, tensions between the Prime Minister and elements of her coalition were growing.

The Presidential election was held at the same time, though it was not expected to be a close race. Due to the figurehead nature of the Presidency, few capable individuals were interested in the position, and incumbent President Asif Ali Zardari was riding high on the coattails of Prime Minister Bhutto's success. He was reelected with a healthy margin at 58% of the vote over PML, PCL, and independent candidates.

The United States of America strongly condemns the illegal and unprovoked acts of aggression by the Somali Government, and we applaud the African Union's commitment to work to uphold International Law in Africa.

While our hopes and prayers go out to the captured Naval Pilot, the United States of America will not bow to the demands of a provocative, undemocratic, untrustworthy, and oppressive power. As such, we state our commitment to maintaining the Quarantine, and to achieve payment of the reparations Argentina deserves. Furthermore, we will be extending our Quarantine to Uruguay. This Government has been using its ports to help Brazil bypass our quarantine. More ships will be deployed to enforce the extended Quarantine, and to provide further security to the Panama Canal.

((Resigning. I'm through with the suffer train and got better things to do (write my own game for example)))

Message from the Ministry of External Affairs concerning current events
Concerning the Greater Somalian ensuring the freedom of its neighboring people, we congratulate the Somali government, as it is liberating people from the chains of communism and capitalism. Azad Hind will gladly observe any peace talks that might occur. We hope that the aggressive communist organization that calls itself the “African” Union will restrain itself from taking action against the liberation of Djibouti.

Concerning the heated situation and worsening rhetoric between the USA and the Brazilian state, the Indian government asks that both the United States and the State of Brazil does not escalate the situation further and we urge the Brazilian government not to execute the American pilot who was only doing his job as a patriotic citizen as it would likely isolate Brazil completely. We do however also urge the American government to stop breaking Brazilian airspace, as it is not helping the situation. We also ask for renegotiated terms of conditions so that the blockade may be lifted in the near future, so that peace is not broken on the South American continent.

African Union and Somalia at War

In a 27 to 12 vote the African Union has approved intervention in the Somalian War of Aggression. The first African Union troops arrived in Addis Ababa last night to support Ethiopian efforts there to prepare for eventual operations which will be undertaken to liberate the Djiboutian homeland. Major support for intervention came from Ethiopia and as well as other members of the communist block and many countries in West Africa where the democratic ideals the AU espouses run deep. Detractors of intervention worry about South Africa's response and about the preparedness of the AU to take on such a major threat. Support for Djibouti has been forthcoming however from outside the AU with Yemen, the United States and many other countries supporting the push for liberty on the African continent. Following the declaration of Intervention by the African Union the Nigerian House of Representatives approved President Obasanjo's declaration of war on Somalia. A watershed moment this would be the first time Nigeria had gone to war with another nation in all of its history.
