A large portion of Colorado Springs has succumbed to infection. POTUS has ordered Mt. Cheyenne to be sealed off - the process of quarantine and evacuation of key personnel into the sub-base resulted in unrest and downed comms. Now, more then ever, it is imperative a communication grid is established with the safe zones.

A data package is now being wired to NGMI[FC]. Upload the package into the Mackinac Isle Airport comms array.

The horde is proceeding slowly north, apparently following refugees as they attempt to flee northward. Be advised, the horde is growing in size as it travels. Estimates put the horde at 500k. The horde is currently infecting Bay City, approx. 260 klicks to your south. Take appropriate measures to prepare for their arrival - blowing the bridge was a good first step, but don't count on it as an absolute.

Captain, this is Colonel Mevil, we need to use the Lexington to transport our troops from Forest City to Mackinac Island, all 300 of us are redeploying into Mackinac, Forest City is going to be attacked by a horde numbering five hundred thousand strong, we have no means of defending the city, and US NORCOM has ordered that we take up stations on Mackinac. We will refuel the Lexington with the oil tanker at the docks and load all of our supplies onto the Lexington and any other vessels we can before occupying Mackinac.

We will then position the USS Lexington along the shore of Mackinac Island as a mobile gun platform should the worst situation arise. Our purpose is to fortify Mackinac, gather supplies, and to transmit data packets from NORCOM across the continental safe zones. Do you understand?

The U.S. National Guard requires your aid in relocating to Mackinac Island, we can grant you surplus supplies in return for the service of some of your ferries, I believe we could trade two more armored transports in return for transport for all of our other vehicles. Does this sound negotiable?

"My fellow Americans...

These past few weeks have seen horrors unimaginable visited upon our nation, bringing out the very worst of mankind, yet also the best that embodies all Americans. Heroes have surfaced in these dark times to establish safe havens, free of infection. It is with infinite sadness that I announce that these havens have now closed their borders, and are no longer accepting refugees.

If you are outside of a haven and can hear my message, do not attempt to reach one of these havens unless you possess extensive expertise in the field of medicine or engineering. You will be turned away, or worse. Gather what supplies you can and find someplace safe. If.... When this storm passes, you will be found.

In an attempt to cease the spread of the infection, major cities along the eastern and western coasts and in the nation's heartland have been targeted for nuclear strike. These cities that once stood as a symbol American ideals are now monuments to our endless grief. Despite the actions of the brave men and women of our fighting forces, all our efforts to confront the infection have failed, and countless of the inflicted swarm the countryside.

I have failed you.

As of this moment all federal and state evacuation operations are to cease, and what remains of the American government will focus on survival of the human race. As I speak, the nations brightest minds are working on a vaccine in a secure location that promises to deliver a cure for the infection. The strength of the military has gathered in Colorado to prepare for the day when we take this country back.

This will not be our end. God be with you all."

[Sergeant Blaine went quickly moved up and down the corridors and hallways of at Fort Ignace, he moved crates of ammo and helped organize squads on gathering up specific items. MRE's and other rations were being gathered to one section, explosives in another. He watched as everything moved along swiftly.]

Sir everything is moving along swiftly, I don't know if we will be able to get everything out in time, 70% of the explosives have been gathered 75% of the food is as well and about 50% of the ammunition has been sorted and ready to go. over.

[The sergeant looked at the explosives he thought for a moment.]

[ He took a deep breath and counted and sorted through the explosives then he went to the weapons locker and found a group of soldiers were packing up the extra fire arms. Sergeant Blaine found what he was looking for. His M249 saw with a grenade launcher and red dot sight. One of the soldiers looked at him.]

"Going somewhere sarge? "
[Blaine loaded his weapon then replied]

''I sure hope so.''

Glad to hear the movement is going well, what's your idea? They're still 200 clicks out, so roughly two days journey for the carriers to begin arriving, so we should have more than enough time already. Begin transporting those supplies over to Mackinac immediately though, we don't want them to show up on our door step and us be still shipping cargo.

Roger that, permission to give the horde a detour sir , my plan is as follows , 1 Humvee , 3 volunteers , 2 c4 charges , 3 smoke grenades, and 2 flares for a flare gun , also I will need the coordinates of the middle front of the horde , I will attempt when they are 50 clicks out to fire off rounds and depending on if its day or night use flares and smoke to drawn more in , and detonate c4 , all the commotion should divert hopefully at least 2rds of the group maybe the entire group would then convert on my position cause the sound would echo on the woods for miles , I wouldn't recommend stopping the evacuation because this plan could fail but I would like to try it , I believe its worth a shot , even if only a few hundred are too far away to hear it that's at least something manageable to fight off , if I can successfully divert the group I would need you to restrict the uses of lights , fire arms and anything loud or bright for at least 2 days to make sure the horde is well on its new path. Over

While it may be worth a shot, you'd have to be well out of viewing distance when you divert them, meaning that you'd be unable to properly time it or else they'd follow you to the path heading towards Forest City, I believe that if we leave them be for now and finish packing by tomorrow and be on the other side before they get here, we will have no trouble with undead until we can relocate to Cheyenne or a cure is found. The bridge was already blown, so unless they learn to swim or take the long route (which you'd show them by doing such an operation) we will be momentarily safe. Using this time to fortify a safe ground (being Mackinac Island due to lack of land route to island) will insure indefinite safety and well-being. Using our four month (atleast) food supply, we will begin fishing from the island and fortifying the island with series of beach entrenchments and ditches to trap any stray zombies. We have also comandeered the oil tanker and three cargo ships to move our supplies and use as look out platforms armed with APCs bolted down on deck to serve as turrets.
These are my current plans on the matter of the safety of the U.S. Personnel under my command.

Alright, all national guardsmen have been accounted for, all supplies are in order, shore-fishing posts have been set up, and the gun platforms are at the ready, I'd say we're going to survive the apocalypse. I know we've all lost some friends and good people along the way, but thank god for this haven of safety and security.

Albert was sitting in his office, everyone seemed to have abandoned city hall. Many were dead and he could here the growling from the zombies outside. He knew that both San Francisco and Seattle were nuked, his family was dead, and he had no reason to live. He remembered he had one more bottle of whiskey left, the one he wanted to give to the Mayor but he never came to take it. He hasn't seen him in a week. Albert opened the bottle, started drinking, then took out his .44 revolver. Once he drank down the bottle, he took out his .44 revolver and placed it on his forehead. "I'm sorry" he said to himself. There then was a large bang then silence.

Susan made it to Canada, however Toronto was overrun with zombies. However there was a safezone outside the city set up by the Canadian government, she was going to stay there until it blew over, however it was also overrun, she now is with a group of a former Canadian Soldier, a High School Teacher, and a Mechanic, trying to survive in this harsh new world.

Oh and Jason Chu got bit and died a week ago.

Thanks for hosting Black Bishop, the game has been great.

The 400 remaining firemen and their families saw the city was being overrun. In a last act of desperation, they used the Jaws of Life to bring down nearby buildings, creating a steep wall around the area. They then prepared for the worst, and are keeping a vigilant watch until this entire thing blows over. Besides the Wall of rubble and glass, a fortified waits with armed sentries(see plan earlier) for any zombies.

O'Connor Island outro is WIP.

Thanks BB for the great and fun game
