The Empire of the Great Ming
Zhengde Emperor
The Great Change
It was time for a change, the once uncaring Zhengde Emperor was now changed and ready to rule over his mighty Empire, why this happened? , because was almost died after drinking for about three consecutive days ,and in those days of agony following that decision, Zhengde started to think of his responsibilities and order more than he had ever before , it was then he noticed that he had many problems to fix and many things to do, as to keep the Kingdom of all under Heaven safe from barbarians and other uncivilized creatures, he would follow the examples set up by the Yongle Emperor and his admiral Zheng He, because it wasn't time to continue with the ever expansion of the Great Wall, it was time to do something else, time to defeat forever those enemies that plagued the northern borders of the Empire. As such, he called upon his many generals and councilors, he decided to take the fight to them and he would start with improving his massive army. Strong as always and powerful like no other in the world.
Over the following decade, many battles were fought between the Ming and the Manchu, the largest threat to the Kingdom of Under Heaven.
Adept of Zhen He
But the emperor didn't only focus on war, he also focused on the world beyond, he knew that many things were out there just like the many travels of Zhen He had shown over time, he immediately sent people to recover and repair the Great Treasure ship , that once went as far as away as Africa bringing exotic goods and many other things to the Ming Empire.
The Emperor focused his gaze towards the east and the south, both places of which he knew that had territories and tribes that needed to be civilized by the hand of the most civilized peoples of the world. Zhengde considered them lucky to have a chance to become his subjects and become part of the Empire.
First, the island of Formosa was colonized or taken over it was basically the same, because Chinese were sent there to settle it and live there. Whose numbers were larger that those original inhabitants of the city.
Next the land of the Philippines, tribal at best in the eyes of the Emperor, again this would change with the arrival of many Chinese settlers and soldiers.
Both of them were the only planned colonizations of the Emperor, but his plans didn't end there, he would seek to establish trade ties with the Indian states to the southwest, believing that it would be a good way to extend of the empire. For this, a great trade outpost was built in Bengal, where Chinese traders could feel safe and at home, when in their long travels.
