Bio: A very old family, with the values of hardwork, devotion and endurance. They have been ruling the plains of Eisenwier since before the formation of Mivean. The common name for the dynasty and the region is the "Plains of the Ironwinds", however the Eisenwier are very persistent about continuing referring to themselves by the old name.

The capital of the County known as Ebene is the main holding of the Eisenwier family where they rule from and live. Its a port town dedicated as the central nerve point for the Eisenwier rule and from where trade and dealings with people outside the county is done. There are some small fortifications but for actual warfare not much thought has been given to the city as the Eisenwier has managed to avoid open hostilities for too long time for it to have any importance for the city.

City of Ebene​

However the Eisenwier do understand the importance of being able to defend their demesne and have a fortress known as Eisen Keep in the middle of their lands which is their holdout in case the worst would happen. Located on the few hills in their lands in the center of the province, one of the few areas that yet have been cultivated for agriculture.

Eisen Keep​

Eisenwier has been described as the breadbasket of the Kingdom, being completely agricultural and reliant on its farmers for its income it does indeed live up to that reputation. The landscape is very flat except for the Spitzen mountain and the hills surrounding the Eisen Keep in the middle of the land. Because of the plains very strong winds blow from the sea all the way down to the southern border.

The Military of Eisenwier

The Landsknechten of the Eisenwier are at most a policing force rather than an actual fighting force, they are tasked with making sure that the city of Ebene is safe and in case of war protect the Eisen Keep from intruders. The Landsknechten got their name from being knights of the land, commoners who patrol the long roads that connect the various small farmer communities and keeping the lands population safe. Their weapon of choice is a pike, making it much easier to keep the enemy away as you fight giving the Landsknecht the control of the battle.

The Landsknechten von Ebene regiment​

However the military has a branch known as the Edelknechten, these are military career officers by the low nobility of Eisenwier and nearby regions. These make up the real fighting force of Eisenwier although a bit small, their main purpose is to defend and protect the von Eisenwier family. The captain of this guard has been for a long time the von Treueblut, Johann for hundred years ago was a commoner who saved the heir of the von Eisenwier. As a reward he was knighted and since then his family has been devoted to the protection of their lords with an amazing zealous commitment to that task.

The Immediate family of Gustaf von Eisenwier, the head of the Eisenwier family.​

Gustaf von Eisenwier has been very unlcuky in getting two daughters and only one son who in turn have gotten a lot of daughters themselves. The current line of succession is Johannus von Eisenwier and Leif von Eisnwier-Treueblut. However Sabine von Eisenwier the mother of Leif is married to the captain of the Edelknechten. Sivard von Treueblut is a lower noble and his family has served the Eisenwier for several generations. Gustaf's hope is that Johannus wife Gretzel performs her duty and sires a healthy boy.

Tanja is maried to Bjorn von Hozhwelf, a prominent noble from the city of Eben. Her two daughters of course wear the Hozhwelf name. Hortio von Eisenwier, the brother of Gustaf traveled to the capital of the Kingdom and joined the royal army seeking fame and glory. This of course was against Gustaf's parents wishes and was thus disinherited. Gustaf and his family still does not know what happened to Hortio or if he even settled down to have a family.
