I would like to point out to the the esteemed gentleman of theplains that such an action is detrimental to all and by doing so would activate the Midwestern Alliance consisting of not only the Sublime Republic, but also the Midwestern Union and the Union of Ohio Counties. I suggest that you retract such inflamatory statement and pronouncements. Particularly as we only desire peaceful economic development though combined we possess the largest nuclear arsenal and are among the few states with the capability to manufacture new weapons. To unilaterally declare such things is foolish.

I would like to point out the word is rogue, not rouge. Rouge is a shade of red.

The FSA was under the impression this was intentional, and that all "rogue" states would indeed be painted red.

((He said he'd cut ties with you, not declare war.))

My Good gentleman from the Sublime Republic of the Great lakes I'm not doing this because I want to but because by refusing to sign the treaty you have triggered it's reaction clauses to Nuclear states which refuse to sign the treaty. If you were to dispose of your nuclear arsenal then I would be allowed to lift restrictions as the treaty would no longer apply to you but since you seem equally unwilling to do that I can't. Why are you so unwilling to sign a simple treaty designed to Protect former American Citizens from the disaster that would be Nuclear war.Do you think that nukes are an acceptable way to win a war should you need them? Nuclear warfare benefits no side the loser Dies and the Winner gains nothing except Land filled with Radiation which is harmful to people. The size of stockpiles matters not since we all likely posses enough nukes to wipe out any other Nation to the point of no return. Also I laugh at your supposed ability to make more Nukes. Your area lacks Uranium mines needed to make more nukes. Since without Uranium nuke making is virtually impossible I doubt your stockpiles will be increasing by much in the near future. Regardless I encourage you to just sign the treaty to end this pointless dispute.

We areopen trade with all and view the actions of the man from plains as short sighted. Our weapons are ours and ours alone, no one will dictate our nation's defense policy other than ourselves. However, we do not seek touse our weapons except in extreme circumstances.

OOC: Actually, we trade with Canada, have nuclear power plants, all the remainderof nuclear materials being refined, among various other things. So not cut and dry. Besides we lose a market of 2 million, you lose over 50 million.

I must ask do you want Nuclear warfare. Because it seems like the only current other way to try and prevent Nuclear warfare blowing us all up. The only other way anyone else seems to have is the use of the senseless MAD doctrine. I have also just been informed that the Dakotan Empire, the United Counties of Ohio and the Midwestern States Of America have agreed to sign the Treaty as well. That only leaves the Columbia Defence Council and the Sublime Republic of the Great Lakes who have refused to sign it.

Following the Recent chaos in Texarkana as a result of several states moving in to annex land they deem rightfully their's the Plains Republic Requests that the Republic of Texarkana cedes the rightfully Plains Republic lands they control. These land make up there territories in Oklahoma. We advise they accept these fair terms.

OOC: Fry, I'm supposed to have the territory in this map (at least, the territory from the State of Carrvia) as Seek relinquished the territory to me.

We thank the Ambassador for pointing out such a obvious error the employee who made the hideous mistake has been fired and Thrown in jail temporarily for gross incompetence.
You are welcome.

I wish to inform the republic of Texarkana that we are willing to offer them vassalization as protection in your weakened state. Accepting this proposal would include ceding the land required to the plains republic. Also, due to the sudden disappearance of four army groups, I am re-raising them. All troops will go back to their previous location. Also, die to a sudden influx of population, I am raising an additional two. These will go on the east and west borders. This is still less then 1 percent of our population, so we are fine.

The Sublime Republic of the Great Lakes would like to consult with Midwestern Union about the possible formation of a political union for the betterment ofboth our nations. We would also like to offer the Union of Ohio Counties a similar agreement supplemented with subsidies and economic support. We extend a similar offer to the Dakotas.

If ou allies sign the agreement wewill as well, but we will not disarm our weapons or otherwise compromise our defensive capabilities.

OOC:Fry, I should have six army groups

((And where is the humungous army I raised!))

((I raised two more army groups...))

Furthermore, I hope no nuclear weapons of any sort be used on American soil. I am alarmed with some states' retraction of the treaty.
- Gulf Confederation

OOC: With 6 Army groups plus your allies would you really need nukes to win a war against a Non-Nuclear enemy. Also If you were fighting a nuclear enemy if he fired first under the Treaty you have full right to return fire. How would this compromise your defences.

With the New Englander economy quickly recovering and gaining stability, the government has ordered to increase the standing army by 30.000 men in order to futher secure the borders.

Today the King has also announced a new change in the measuring system in New England : The Kingdom was officialy adopting the Metric system and the government would cover and support all the costs needed for this change, what is hoped by this is that trade with foreign nations will increase thanks to this.
