The Treaty of Peace Between the Allied and Associated Powers and the Ottoman Empire (Treaty of Sèvres, 1920)
I Anatolia
§1 The Ottoman Empire will recognize the independence and the borders of Armenia, compromising of Eastern Armenia - the Republic of Armenia - and of Western Armenia, also known as Wilsonian Armenia. The exact borders are in the addendum.
§2 The Ottoman Empire will recognize the independence and the borders of Kurdistan. The exact borders are in the addendum.
§3 The Ottoman Empire will recognize the independence and the borders of Georgia. The exact borders are in the addendum. Armenia and Georgia will address their borders issues later on, in a bilateral treaty.
§4 The Ottoman Empire will cede parts of Eastern Anatolia to Greece and will renounce any claims it may have to it. The exact borders are in the addendum.
II Thrace and the straits
§1 The Ottoman Empire will cede Western Thrace to Greece, and will also cede parts of Eastern Thrace to Greece, with the city of Çatalca/Chatlja being on the border between the two countries, and being the westernmost city under Ottoman control. The Ottoman Empire will renounce its claims to these territories.
§2 The Dardanelles will always remain open to any ship, civilian or military, without distinction of flag. These waters will not be subject to blockade, nor will hostile actions take place in these waters. The Council of the League of Nations will be allowed to change these dispositions.
§3 Ottoman Eastern Thrace will be and remain demilitarized.
III Levant
§1 The State of Greater Lebanon will be created as a French protectorate. The exact borders are in the addendum.
§2 The Kingdom of Greater Syria will be created as an independent state with Faisal ibn Hussein at its head. The exact borders are in the addendum. However, so as to ensure stability in the region, its foreign policy of this state will be jointly retained by France and Great Britain for a duration of twenty years, in accordance with Syrian wishes. They will also be allowed to own military bases in Tartous for France and Homs for Britain. The Kingdom of Greater Syria will not seek to expand its borders and will recognize the borders as presented in this treaty.
§3 The Kingdom of Iraq will be created as a British protectorate with Abdullah ibn Hussein at its head. The exact borders are in the addendum. The Kingdom of Iraq will not seek to expand its borders and will recognize the borders as presented in this treaty.
§4 The Kingdom of Kurdistan will be created as a British protectorate, with Zeid bin Hussein at its head. The exact borders are in the addendum.
§5 Palestine will be administrated by Great Britain as a colony. The exact borders are in the addendum.
§6 The Sinai peninsula will be to the Sultanate of Egypt.
IV Arabia
§1 All signing parties will recognize the Hashemite state as the sole rightful state in Arabia, except for the states of Oman, Muscat, Yemen, Kuwait and the Trucial states.
V Reparations and minorities
§1 Ottoman Empire will owe reparations to Armenia and Greece for the acts of oppression committed by the Ottoman Empire against Greek, and Armenian populations. It will also recognize the acts of oppression committed against the Assyrian people. These reparations will be determined in 1921, according to the Ottoman capacity to pay.
§2 Population exchanges will begin between Kurdistan, Greece, Armenia and the Ottoman Empire, with Kurds from the Ottoman Empire being relocated with a compensation to Kurdistan; Greeks from Armenia and the Ottoman Empire being relocated to Greece with a compensation; Armenians from Greece, Kurdistan and the Ottoman Empire being relocated with a compensation and with Turks from Greece, Armenia and Kurdistan being relocated to the Ottoman Empire.
VI Claims
§1 The Ottoman Empire will renounce all its claims outside the borders specified in this treaty.
§2 Greece will recognize the Italian ownership of the Dodecanese and of Rhodes.
VII Army size
§1 The Ottoman standing army will be limited to a maximum of 96 000 men, with no aviation and its navy will be limited to small ships under 14 000t, with no submarines or aircraft carriers. The Ottoman Empire will not be allowed to conscript its population.
VIII Peace
§1 After the signing of this treaty, peace will reign between the Ottoman Empire and the Allied and Associated Powers. As such, no hostile actions will be undertaken against any of the signing parties while the present articles are being enacted.

~Italy shall receive:
The western parts of the former Duchy of Carniola: more than half of the region of Inner Carniola, with the municipalities of Idrija, Vipava, Šturje, Postojna, Št. Peter na Krasu and Ilirska Bistrica, and the Upper Carniolan municipality of Bela Peč/Weissenfels;
The whole territory of former Austrian Littoral, except for the municipality of Kastav and the island of Krk, which were ceded to the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes;
The small Dalmatian islands of Lastovo and Palagruža.
The seaport of Porto Baross and the northern part of Fiume County. Italy will be given the city of Fiume and some surrounding land, as well as a coastal corridor which will connect it to the Italian mainland
~The Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes recognized the new state's sovereignty over the delta of the Rječina River. The exact definition of the borders will be the object of a joint commission, the City of Zadar will be a part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes and will be taken under their care.
