People of Argentina!, the progress of our nation continues.
Many projects have been started by the government to improve our country

Internal situations:

Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales (YPF) the first national own Petroleum company in the world is well running and providing cheap petroleum to to our country! thanks to it energy generation has been reducing in cost and industry is booming!. I assure you this is only the first step to provide energy to the whole country!.

The three new massive railroads lines under construction are costly, we admit, but they are necessary for the advancement of our country. This new lines will allow easier movement of products between Buenos Aires and the north and south of the country. They too will allow a much easier mobility of you Argentinian people around the country no more it will take days to get from one city to anther! no price can compare to making the your life a little better.

Military Issues:

The navy, as you may have hear is increasing its number of light ships to be able to effectively patrol our waters and defend from any attack on us. The goverment have no intention of restarting another dreadnought race as rumors have been saying.

International issues:

We are happy to announce that the aid as little as we may have being able to send have reached the russian affected zones and is helping stop starvation of the russian people.

In a much more grave situation the news of the Chilean build up of 2 Battleships types warships and shipbuilding capabilities are worrying and we in the Argentinian government ask the Chilean to stop this foolishness. Yes we build some light ships for patrolling our waters as we had communicated in private talks, and we were under the believe Chile would not be building ships but we have been lied to. We repeat this: To the Chilean government Stop the construction of the two war ships and the dismantle of the facilities in Valparaiso. We ask this in a diplomatic tone, and urge you to follow with our request.

This is all for now citizens of Argentina, The government will keep you informed on any new news that develop.

Presidente Hipólito Yrigoyen

The Republic of Poland will continue to refer this matter to the Conference of Ambassadors at the League of Nations, noting that at this time the "government" of Danzig has violated Articles 104 and 107 of the Treaty of Versailles:

Article 104

The Principal Allied and Associated Powers undertake to negotiate a Treaty between the Polish Government and the Free City of Danzig, which shall come into force at the same time as the establishment of the said Free City, with the following objects:

(1) To effect the inclusion of the Free City of Danzig within the Polish Customs frontiers, and to establish a free area in the port;
(2) To ensure to Poland without any restriction the free use and service of all waterways, docks, basins, wharves and other works within the territory of the Free City necessary for Polish imports and exports;
(3) To ensure to Poland the control and administration of the Vistula and of the whole railway system within the Free City, except such street and other railways as serve primarily the needs of the Free City, and of postal, telegraphic and telephonic communication between Poland and the port of Danzig;
(4) To ensure to Poland the right to develop and improve the waterways, docks, basins, wharves, railways and other works and means of communication mentioned in this Article, as well as to lease or purchase through appropriate processes such land and other property as may be necessary for these purposes,
(5) To provide against any discrimination within the Free City of Danzig to the detriment of citizens of Poland and other persons of Polish origin or speech;
(6) To provide that the Polish Government shall undertake the conduct of the foreign relations of the Free City of Danzig as well as the diplomatic protection of citizens of that city when abroad.

Article 107
All property situated within the territory of the Free City of Danzig belonging to the German Empire or to any German State shall pass to the Principal Allied and Associated Powers for transfer to the Free City of Danzig or to the Polish State as they may consider equitable.

It becomes immediately clear that article 104 has been violated in its entirety by the Free City and thus its independence should be called into question.

After the disastrous and costly Great War, the Government of Romania and the other countries of the Entente assumed without any shadow of doubt that only through peace and stability the prosperity of both individuals and nations throughout Europe could be finally achieved.

It is for this reason that the Entente Governments proposed to Hungary to sign the Treaty of Trianon, which put an end to years of unnecessary and unjustified war and repaired the terrible wounds inflicted to the innocent victims of this conflict. Wisely and aware of their own responsibility in such event, the Hungarian government accepted the Treaty, thus paving the way for a fruitful and friendly relationship with its neighboring countries, and likewise these countries promised to respect the sovereignty and stability of Hungary .

With great horror we contemplate how the legitimate Hungarian government led by Admiral Horthy is now threatened by the criminal insurgency of the communist felons, which threatens not only to destroy any hope of peace in southern Europe, but also the lives of thousands of free Hungarian citizens. Our nations cannot and will tolerate that a group of rebels try to restore a reign of terror in Hungary to sow distrust once more among their neighbors, and that is why we assume our duty with peace in our time and feel compelled to intervene in the suppression of this revolt.

Therefore, the governments of Romania, Czechoslovakia, Italy, Poland and Yugoslavia agree to provide the necessary assistance to the legitimate Hungarian government to purge Hungary from the Bolshevik threat, finally allowing return to the path of peace that was beggining to take shape prior to these events.

Also, we announce that for the time being our Romanian borders will remain closed except for the signants of this declaration in order to ensure that no exernal interferences occur.

Friends and patriots of Poland, the current unrest in Hungary needs to end, for both the good of the Hungarian people, but also for the stability of Europe. I thereby endorse the Romanian proposal.

The Foreign Enemies of Glorious Communism are gathering round us preparing to try and destroy our newly reborn Hungarian Socialist Republic who has done nothing to them. We are in acceptance of the treaty of Trianon and would be willing to sign it if we were accepted as the Legitimate government of Hungary which we are. We have broken none of it's clauses but we are still to be destroyed due to the selfish desires of corrupt capitalists backing our enemies for no valid reason. But if they come we will destroy them. I urge true workers in all countries who sign this agreement to strike and to show solidarity with your fellow workers who are under assault in the Hungarian Socialist republic.

Someone has to take care of the old house - Léon Blum

The Tours Congress and its effects on the French political and syndical scenes.

The aftermath of the Tours Congress, of the gruesome Russian civil war and of the failed revolutions and their shaky 'communist' heir in Germany has been deep, and they left a huge impact on the world, and most particularly in France.

Likewise the massacres in Hungary and in many other countries have been a shock to the French working class, that came to believe, also thanks to the testimonies of many Russian, German and Polish exiles that the revolutionary fervour wouldn't bring the République Sociale they had awaited for decades, but would only bring a new sort of slavery. The French workers, who had massively voted for the left in 1914, had witnessed the 'blue horizon' chamber in 1919, direct consequence of the war and of the patriotic fervour of France. However, the left didn't suddenly disappear. The SFIO and the IInd International as a whole had lost much credit among the extreme-left due to their support for the war, and the party was torn apart between 6 parties in Tours. What began as a mere vote over the 21 conditions posed by Moscow ended up as a gruesome separation.

The SFIO, under Léon Blum, adopted social-democratic policies, along the lines of the British labour. While it retained the original name - French Section of the Workers' International - it only retained a handful delegates but could hope to capitalize - no longer ironically, as the SFIO no longer believed in massive changes - on the power of its name.
The SFIC - French Section of the Communist International - , under Pierre Semard, was the sole faction that wholeheartedly accepted the Zinoniev's conditions. As its name claims, it is the French arm of the Muscovite legions. However, the tensions within the party are still present, mirror of the power struggles in Moscow.
The POP - Workers and Peasants Party -, created by Louis Sellier, represents a faction between the two SFIs, that still advocates in favour of socialist revolution but that refuses to be a puppet of the IIIrd International. It mainly has representatives from Paris.
The PCF - French Communist Party - was created and buried in early 1919 by anarchists and recreated by the same persons after the Tours Congress, is a unique structure that federates both anarchists and communists. Its radical theses make it unlikely to get much support, and all it has now is its name, that could make people mistake it for the SFIC.
The CCD - Democratic Communist Circle - is the brainchild of Boris Souvarine. Like the POP, it is deeply communist and refuses the IIIrd International, but it goes much further. It has repeatedly called Soviet Russia a non-democratic state, a fraud and a shame for all socialists, and Souvarine's columns are often republished in right-wing journals, so as to weaken the influence of the SFIC.
The GOC - Workers' Communist Groups - are a communist party, a nebula of parties even, close to the theories of Bordigua in Italy and of the KAPD in Germany. However, these dialectical differences and its lack of funds make it unlikely to score well for the elections.

The syndicates were also torn apart by the crisis, with the split of the CGT. The CGT remained close to the SFIO, and guarantees its power on the left and among the working class. The CGTU is working closely with the SFIC, and takes its orders from the Muscovite IFTU. The CGT-SR, created by Pierre Monatte and Pierre Besnard, isn't affiliated with any party but has ties with the GOC and the CCD, but is generally independent and sometimes even collaborate with anarchists. Smaller Parisian unions work closely with the SFIO, the SFIC and the POP; and the GOC have representatives everywhere, but no majority.

This immense fracture within the French left would have unexpected consequences.

Friends.

I have fought for years to establish the Sociale, the Republic Napoleon III, Thiers, and a few years ago, Germany stole from us. Every time we thought the time had come for the small folk of France to rise and to become master of their lives, the party of Order shattered our hopes. But we mustn't give up. The National Block has won once, but it won't always win.
The Russian and German experiences, and the tragedy of Tours have shown us the errors of the ways of the Internationals. Revolution isn't a solution. We must work from within the current Republican framework and slowly build the Republic we dream of. The examples of the Familistere, of Fenwick and of many other places show us that it is possible. We must create local democracy within our enterprises, and break the power of the capital. The capital wants to think that one share means one vote, to rule over men. We know that one man means one vote, for all men should share.

Workers, unite. Get rid of the capitalistic yoke, bloodlessly. Quit your jobs as lackeys, group together your meagre savings, and create your own mean of production. Likewise, women. Many of you don't work. But you need to join the movement, to make consumers more important than producers. In this capitalistic society, you are enslaved by bosses who tell you what you can afford, and what you can buy. But if you group together, and force the big business to listen to your pleas. Together, you can bring down any company. Together, you can ensure that you'll live decently, and that you will rule your own lives.

Education is a Republican right. Children are being thought in the schools of the Republic. But the higher classes don't want to see too many proletarian children in its universities and grandes écoles. I have a solution for you: the popular university. Teachers of the people will work for the proletarians, for the peasants, and allow them to be fully educated. This project has already blossomed before the war, let's make it even bigger.

Lastly, my friends. Politicians of the left don't appreciate my ideas, for they seek to make the society centred about the individual within a group, and not to make certain group of individuals seize the power for themselves. I offer every man a chance, and don't want to force anyone to follow these guidelines, when they want to coerce people into doing what they think is best. Some syndicates don't like me either, as they want to make people richer and not happier. I want the Sociale, where every man will be able to live decently, to be educated by his peers, and to be the master of his own life. Some think that's threatening. I think that's enthralling.

Charles Gide

The Sociale, or Social Republic, is what the Republicans wanted to create during the long 19th century, a republic where all tyrannies (economic tyrannies, mostly), would be abolished; and it soon became an anti-capitalist movement. It had many ramifications, and every time people believed it would come to fruition, it was ended violently (the 1848 revolution, the Commune, 1914, the Popular Front and its breakdown).

Français!

It seems like France has to settle the problems of Europe, now that Britain has decided to be more contemplative, and that the US re-entered a period of isolationism. While the task is huge, we are up to it. We will honour our obligations, no matter what.

In Hungary, our worries have come true. The dreaded Bela Kun has come back, and with him murders have resumed once more. Hungary is torn apart, and while France won't directly join this struggle for liberty, we support our friends and allies in their fight against the lying Hungarian rebels. We will thus recognize the Kingdom of Hungary,and wish to see it confirm that it will apply the treaty of Trianon. We turn away from this region, assured that it is in good hands. France can rely on good allies, and it is a wonderful feeling.

In Turkey, our struggle has yet to end. I understand that many want to see the bloodshed end. So do I. But the Republic must keep fighting. In 1914, many wanted us to give up too when the Prussians threatened Paris. We kept fighting, and victory came at last. In 1870, the Republic fought on and made the Prussians bleed, so abd that they had to leave Belfort and other rightfully French cities in our hands. Fighting is gruesome. But it is needed. The endless exactions the Turks are a shame for humankind. And since no one else will stop them, the daughter of Liberty, France, will end the massacres and bring peace. We will try to negotiate with the Kemalists, as we understand that the Sèvres treaty was unacceptable for some.

The Soviets have won in Russia, and while we don't like this government that cowardly abandoned us against the Germans, we must be realistic. We offer to recognize their current borders, to begin trade relations, to use our influence to get them accepted within the League of Nations, if they leave the Kars oblast and the western part of eastern Armenia they currently occupy. We also ask them to free the surviving Armenian leadership and to support it in its current struggle. We offer them a friendly hand, and we hope they will accept our offer.

Regarding the situation in Danzig, a compromise has been brokered, and peace will be saved. Our Polish friends will be allowed to demobilize at last, and to live in peace, their main port secured, and the liberties of the Danzigers upheld.

The Irish situation worries us, and we hope that peaceful negotiations will continue in the British isles. The unrest in China is equally troubling, but our interests are safe for the moment.

France recognizes the German government, and thanks it for its commitment to peace in Europe. However, we must point out that Germany not recognizing the Austrian, Polish and French borders has been noticed by our government. We will remain vigilant.
Regarding war reparations, a solution has been found, and we will be compensated for our endless troubles.

Alexandre Millerand, President of the Council

The Capitalist West is even now spreading lies about murders and killings by our Glorious workers state but there is no killing in Hungary. The only killing of civilians is being done by the Monarchist forces whose white terror killed thousands before our return put an end to it. We extend an open hand of Peace to any moderate Socialist or Social Democrat fighting with Horthy for you are not our enemy. All Socialists and leftists should unite against the true enemy the monarchists under Horthy who want the return of the Hapsburgs and even now have proclaimed a kingdom and are simply waiting for their Hapsburg master to return so they can lead Hungary into another ruin. But we will not let them for we shall strand strong against these evil forces and their corrupt foreign allies because we must for the good of the righteous Hungarian worker who must be protected against the Worst evils of capitalism.

His Majesty's government have decided to sign the Paris Agreements. We see the situation as unfortunate, however, we shall comply as both parties has been seen nominally content with the outcome. Sweden is also delighted with the new trade agreement, that will help modernize the Swedish Defence Forces, and support our ever growing harvesting and processing of our natural resources.

His Majesty the King Gustaf V signs this treaty.

The British Empire

Peace, Isolation, Empire.

The British Empire is entering into a new age. An age where the sword is exchanged for the plow. An age where blood is not spilt on foreign soil. An age where our focus is solely on the British Empire. This is the age of Peace, Isolation and Empire.

The sons of Empire shall no longer die on foreign fields. Our navy shall not enter hostile waters. Our aircraft shall not fly in distant skies. For today, for the first time since August 1914, The British Empire is at Peace. We have secured peace with the last of our enemies, Soviet Russia, Ireland and Turkey. No more war.

And so it is with a return of peace, comes a change in foreign policy. Our Empire was strongest, most prosperous and most fruitful during the period of "Splendid Isolation." And it is our belief that our Empire will once again be strong, prosperous and fruitful under such a policy. We have sacrificed enough for foreign causes, for the good of Europe and the World. Now we must focus on the good of the Empire and it's people. We shall continue to encourage trade within the Empire, forge deeper bonds with one another and together, we shall prosper.

We have stood up to all manor of evil. We have been battered and bruised. We have lost loved ones along the way. But God has led us out of the valley of the shadow of darkness and is now leading us into a new dawn of peace, prosperity and hope.

The British Empire

A Beacon of Hope and Peace

52p8.jpg

There has been one symbol which has represented the people of these islands since the time of Rome. One image which embodies British Liberties and Democracy. An image that serves as a rallying point for all Britons, no matter their political allegiance. Britannia is her name.

It is my pleasure to announce our intention to construct a great statue of Britannia, a statue which shall not only remember those who sacrificed their lives in the recent conflicts, but a statue which shall act as a beacon of Hope and Peace. Britannia shall be build on Greenwich Hill, overlooking the city of London and the whole of Britain. At a height of 230 feet, Britannia shall be taller than Big Ben and St Paul's Cathedral.

Britannia, our beacon of Hope and Peace, shall lead Britain and the Empire into a new age. An age of Peace, Isolation and Empire.
