Domestic: A week before the elections, Frau Merkel understands that she wont won only by herself, and creates a big alliance based on Expenditure cuts and a re-industialization program leaded by Germany and the northern states of Europe. Tony Blair accepts to go into the candidature as long as UK privileges are maintained, and Van Rompuy signs himself as the 2nd in command.

However, and with a bold move, Berlusconi offers his votes to Nicolas Sarkozy, who starts a populist campaign, based in attacks on inmigration and tax cuts promises. At the same time, Berlusconi engages in a political tour all over Southern Europe attacking Germany and its policies.

After an intense campaign, the candidature formed by Sarkozy/Berlusconi obtains majority with the 51,3% of the votes, and thus they are elected as President and VP of the EU. Several newspapers argue that this candidature is a threat to european unity and freedom, but the voters have spoken.

OOC: Sorry if I made it too long, I guess I got too focused on it. If you want, we can make success as everthing ok, and failure as high dissent...that way we can close this election that went too long :).

[SUCCESS]: Unexpectedly, the Italian authoritarian candidate has relinquished his votes to the French social conservative, thereby gaining the advantage over the allied democrats of northern Europa. The office of Chancellor is now headed by the social conservative candidate, with the 'paternal autocrat' serving as Vice Chancellor, as per the agreement. The citizens of Europa, however, are concerned and even confused that votes were allowed to be transferred between parties after the ballots were already being processed and concerns arise that an irregular power sharing agreement between the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor could take place - a situation which no one voted for.

Domestic: Collectivize Farmland

[SUCCESS]: Farmland collectivised, in a move reminiscent of the policies of the Soviet Union in the 20th century.

[Domestic] Begin work on repairing the navy, and focus internally.

[FAILURE]: Increases in the budget allocated towards naval repairs derived from, of course, tax income is met with dissatisfaction from the majority of the UNAS' citizens as well as various members within the senate - both becoming increasingly agitated as the campaign against the USLA continues.

Diplomatic: Offer the UNAS that nationals of the United States and EU can travel to the respective territories just with a common passport, not needing visa for less than a month stays.

United North American States +5; currently at 1 point.
Europa +5; currently at 12 points.

Domestic: Fund the construction of planned cities in Siberia, to assist in mining there.

[FAILURE]: While the plans drawn up by the RRF's Public Planners are attractive, projections indicate that the cities simply won't attract enough residents to work in the mining sector for the settlements to be sustainable.

Domestic: Issue an european referendum to change the old and outdated European flag to the Rem Koolhaas´design, trying to better represent the new borders of the EU.

[FAILURE]: "Adjust your television set", "it's like gay pride gone international" and "is it hip?" were some of the comments that were voiced during the referendum to have the European flag updated. Although a fair number of member states were in favour of the particular flag, the majority agreed that a subtler approach would be more agreeable, while somehow also being representative of Morocco and Turkey.

OOC: Ha, I was almost tempted to have that order cost nothing!

OOC: Hahaha, I just wanted a little flavour to a domestic decision, and was just looking to a hoi2 flags site. And yes, it is horrible...I guess it would have been easier just to add more stars to the actual flag, but this design really was proposed!

Btw, can I issue new commands? I dont know if its 1 per day or you can issue new orders just when the old ones are answered.

You can issue orders as soon as your previous one has been parsed, yes. Sometimes it could happen that I'll only be able to process orders once a day, though.

Domestic: President Sarkozy, taking advantage of the power vacuum existent in the UK, orders the European fleet to seize Gibraltar and incorporate it into the Union.

That would fall under military. And since Great Britain has no player, it can't be interacted with.

Domestic: Crack down on organized crime.

[SUCCESS]: Through a series of probes, politicians revealed to have ties to criminal organisations are removed from office whilst the RRF's military assists in cracking down on assets which are believed to be owned by the mafia, raiding the private files of high profile figures in order to thoroughly root out organised crime in the RRF.
