Thought I'd share what I think is a very uncommon occurrence. It is a small map though.

and that is why I always switch any settings at map generation to few/rare/seldom in any of that 4x games,
so that when you find one of such things , you are happy and value it ...
or search for it,
even fight for it ...

but when there are hundreds of them, who cares and you are very soon bored in any of such games

Well, everyone starts with just a bronze one, the silver ones here are for secret techs (and none was for mine lol), so there'd be only 6 in the map, the fact that I got three to spawn so close is why I think it's a rare find, and gold ones are the extremely rare ones of which I've only seen two or three in several restarts.

I do not think the square the colony is on counts as a sector, so five is the maximum.

It does, your max is one colony center and 4 other sectors
