France in CORE

So, after Germany, SU and US, I tried a France game in CORE.
My MP and MP-growth were a disaster, so I focused on extending the Maginot Line (I know, this is gamey). Of course this stopped the Germans at my border in 1940.
Today it's 1943, Axis and Allies are in a stalemate. Italy is still fighting Ethiopia, Japan fighting NatChi. US and SU have not entered war.

I tried an amphibious landing with approx. 75 Div in 1942 behind german lines. No chance, the Wehrmacht had better Org and more troups (ARM!!!) then my airforce could kill, so I had to reload (again gamey).

Strat-Bombing is not really an option.
Direct attack neither, because Adolf concentrates 90% of his forces at my border.

What should I do? Remark: My IC is comparable to German.
1. Milcon all allies and transport them to France?
2. DoW Italy (10% dissent) and try to take out the Germans with CAS in the Alps (assuming ITA will join Axis)?
3. Wait untill I have nukes?
4. Holding the line in Europe and try to get some ground in asia from JAP or in maybe south america

i have tried a game as France too.And result was same.Never took one province and never gave one.But to play like this is just boring.Wait for them to DoW Soviet Union.Its your only chance i think.In my game i was so bored that i could not wait for nukes.Is you are a patient fellow wait for nukes

I'd go for Italy. Once you get a foothold their weak division structure should allow you to push through any opposition they put together. When you get into the Alps you'll have you a good defensive position against a German counterstroke with the option of attacking the former Austrian provinces and then moving into Czechoslovakia. The Germans will want to keep their border with you pretty well saturated and that will bring you enough sunshine to make quite a bit of hay before they start pressing back.

Once they do start a counteroffensive, the Maginot will give you an option they don't have. You'll be able to safely strip more units from the border than they can because of your fortress defences and swing westward from Austria to pocket the units they keep in place. Or you'll be able to draw them back in Austria and down into Italy while you mass sufficient forces in the Maginot to launch a killing drive toward Lubeck or Rostov that leaves all German forces to the West gasping for supply.

The 10% dissent is nasty, but with all the IC you have you should be able to knock it down pretty quickly.
