free sliders/cassus beli

OK I've heard about this but never seen it work
I'm playing as country A and i have guaranteed country B
So i will have cassus beli on country C after they attack country B
do your intervention/hawk sliders move for free?
or what else will i gain besides a dissent free dow on country B?
also how does this work will it bump them for me or unlock the sliders early ?

You get +2 interventionism if another country attacks a country (that you have GoIed )in the same continent of your capital.
For example, if you've garanteed poland as UK and germany attacks it, you'll have 2 free interventionism sliders.

The same goes for soviet GoIing albania (which italy dows) or Australia on china.

You can dow the country without any penalty of dissent (for the duration of the war). If the country gets annexed = no more CB on him = dissent if you dow.

Note that USSR (moscow) is considered as european and that america (north and south) is one only continent
Oceania and asia are also considered as 1.

Can't say if middle east is considered as asiatic (which include oceania) or european (which includes turkey)

Anyway it is always wise to GoI on some certain upcoming conflicts, like
peru/equador, Albania, poland, natChi or ComChi or Ussr by 1941 (though that late you'll have maxed your sliders though)

well I made my Dow, i got the dissent free declaration but the sliders didn't move...

Italian i GoI'd Germany
it might have moved when they got dow'd, i was only watching when i Dow'd france...
its one from max now i think it may have moved then
