Freeze after starting a new game.

The game freeze completely on the "Loading savegame: 0%" message after clicking new game on the main menu , the game didn't do so before and it only happen on this paradox game. I tried a few thing without sucess or change:
1. I changed the display to borderless and also to windowed mode
2. I deleted my imperator folder in document.
3. I verified the integrity of the file on steam.
4. I put imperator.exe, and the 2 imperator folders (steamapp and document) in the exception for window defender.
5. I tried putting shadowmap_resolution to 1024x1024.

Specifically: was this in the Ransomware Controlled Folders area, in the Apps Allowed Through list?

You have a really old video driver there, please update it from here:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

And in the game launcher set the display mode to borderless or windowed.

Does any of that help?

Unfortunately it doesn't correct my (the same) problem!
My driver is the latest version, i updatet it minutes ago! Set to borderless or windowed also doesn't change anything!
I have not did anything else (put any folders elsewhere) because my English is very bad and i think i don't understand what that exactly means!
I have this Problem just a few days ago, it came suddenly and without any reason!

Please do a full **clean** re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-Imperator
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/Imperator AND Documents/Paradox/Imperator folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- add imperator.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular you need to make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam Imperator or Documents Imperator locations, before installing again.

Let me ask you one more (important) question: "Is it possible to "destroy" the game (like my game was) by using "console commands"?
If yes, i will delete my saved game, because i used console commands in this game!

Normaly on most other boards if i ask a question what was asked before people are angry and say :"Use the board search!"
My problem was exactly the same, so i used this thread just to make it better/easyer to you, beg your pardon!

You can certainly break a save game with console commands, yes. That will not carry across to any other saved game though.

No need to apologise. It is just better for any subsequent searcher for each case to have its own thread, rather than separate problems mixed up in one thread.
