Since Crashes are the Subject ....
I have never yet survived a multiplayer (i.e., two-player) game without my being dumped within the first 15 minutes. Even more annoying, I (playing as the guest, not the host) am never informed of this fact. Instead, I go along playing merrily by myself until I realize that my opponent is no longer responding to my messages.
This happens both via AOL and Mindspring, and I have never had this problem with any other of a score of online games. Does anyone else have such problems? Although we routinely autosave each year, and restore our games, it is still quite annoying, especially inasmuch as when these crashes occur, I first get knocked offline, and then my keyboard locks up, forcing a hard reboot of my PC.
Merci
