Frequent Game Crashes

Does the most recent version of the mod require specific DLC for it to properly function? I was wondering if that was the case considering I don't have any DLC for the game currently and it crashes on a relatively frequent basis. Like, I'll be playing the game for a couple minutes and sometimes it'll freeze and just abruptly crash. I imagine the mod would need at least some DLC given the game's mentioning of dharmic hybrid religions like Greco-Hinduism or Hellenistic Buddhism (or something of that nature). Is that the case?

6J1 will crash when special units are raised anywhere on the map, when playing with patch 2.1.6.

If you want to play with all the mod's features, you'll need almost all the DLCs.

more accurately, you can play the mod without DLC's.
Like in vanilla though, you'll need SoA for jews, SoI for muslims, RoI for Indians, ToG for pagan mechanics (you can play most pagans normally though), LoR for retinues, etc. Also, while there's a default BLC pack integrated, you'll need all the face-pack DLC's to use the LI-BLC DLC-addon though.

that said, v6j1 is not fully compatible with the current CK2 build (you'll need to either fix some files yourself, downgrade your CK2 build, or use the SVN version noted in the FAQs). ditto for the LI BLC-DLC module.

And for downgrade, you'd need to have to have a pre-2.1.5 ROI patch archived on your system, as you can no longer get one from Steam.

Definitely go for the SVN version over a downgrade.
