I dont mind at all, at what time we play it, as long as we can get enough players to make it fun.
we have about 4 players at the moment: you, me, sterkarm, and either clamp or thegeneral, depending on the start time (general can't go as late as clamp wants to go it seems, if you look at the time thegeneral posted).
i sincerely doubt we'll even have 5 or 6 by this friday, so game probably won't start this week in that case, unless everyone already here just wants to meet to test out connections, see how smoothly things go in a test run perhaps.

I will take one of the 6 main countries that isnt taken if we start without reaching 6 players, and if we have 6 players to fill up the main countries, I would like to play Two-Sicilies.
i've edited myself in as Prussia if we don't have 6 people and decide to start anyway at whatever point.

Actually I dont mind playing early Saturday morning as well, as long as it is not too early. I guess starting at 07:00 ( 02:00 EST ) is acceptable, but I think it will be too late for you guys

i don't know about this time situation. with everyone's current position, half of us would be here late at night falling asleep, the other half still half-asleep in the early morning, or so it seems

That time most certainly will not work for me. I was hoping for something more like 23 EST...
that would be a little better from my point of view as well, that'd be 9:00PM my time, whereas the other proposals have been putting it at anywhere from 11PM my time, to past midnight on into saturday

22EST is what the saturday game played at, so +1 hour from that... and I think GMT is +6 on ESTHusayn said:

GMT is UK time in the winter. Now we have BST (British Summer Time), which is GMT +1h.
Anyway the time difference between London (BST) and New York (EST) is 5 hours. Between California and London it is 8h. So a game starting at 23:00 EST will be starting at 04:00 UK time and 20:00 California time.
However I think 04:00 is a bit too early for European players

I can play without any problem at any moment as I am free from anything at my fridays/saturdays
I have no problem playing during 5 o' clock in the morning... playing 0:00 during friday night I can't do regularly.
well, i've distributed more countries out... so we now UK, France, Russia, Japan, and Prussia filled. Looks like your left with Austria or OE Strategist.
Presumably no one will have a problem with the country distribution. if you do, now is the time. we have 6 people now technically, but due to the mix of NA, Euro, and Aussie players we now have, my connection best not take any more people on. I doubt we'll get any consensus on a starting time in the near future, from what i see. We've not even discussed any sort of rules and stuff yet either, which are likely to be difficult to agree upon as well.
So, it'd be more than helpful i think, if each player now in, would make 1 post, in which they would confirm if their assigned country is to their liking, state if they have any problems with the other current players, suggest a start time (if you could all provide a time in my MST as well (2 hours earlier than EST), that would be appreciated), and give their suggestions as to what rules/guidelines they feel are most important to the game.
i'll wait till everyone has posted, before i post anything further.
