From Island to Empire: A Corsican AAR

Not sure how much people come here anymore, but I got reinterested in this game, and wanted to try to create another AAR, and this time finally stick with one.

Goal: Take the Obertenghi Dynasty from lowly Counts of the small island of Corsica, duh!

Rules:
1)Must take choices that make sense for my character traits.
2)All friend/rival events must take 75& chance frisnd/rival in X choice unless traits dictate otherwise.
3)Some liberty may be taken on my part for storytelling purposes.
4)Laws cannot be adjusted. To simulate splitting the realm between sons (should the story bring me that way) I will personally split the realm up properly upon a proper succession. This is to avoid senseless split of territories.
5)I cannot crusade or declare war without just cause both within the story and the traits of my character.
7)I cannot restart unless I see it fit. I dont get why PI hasn't put an "I Win" button in their games yet?
6) It is not against the rules to break the rules; it is just frowned upon to do so.

Other information:

I have a history of abandoning AARs, but I am confident that I will continue with this one for some time. This AAR will attempt to stick to a narrative style, but I may choose to change that at will. I am not a very good writer, as made evident by my improper use of commas and lack of organisation in this paragraph. I am a ntaive english speaker so poor spelling and grammer should be highly criticized. Feel free to criticize the story and my actions but note they will be taken personally and I will be highly offended. Feel free to supply suggestions, but they will be most likely ignored, as I am clearly a genius born of a higher class and intelligence. If you have read this far congradulations, you might actually get useful information now as this wall o' text is intentional. I plan on putting in some side stories for certain characters should the real heart of the story slow down too much. These may tinker into other styles, like comedy, history book and random. I'm not sure what random is yet, maybe I can get Morgan Freeman to narrate. I'll make some calls. As you have probably notice I have a very unfunny dry sense of humor. I have a habit of not putting a bunch of pictures in my AAR, but I will try to make a neat balance between screenshots, pictures, and paint comics. I think I just trolled the my own AAR. Will make sure to not do this again.

In all seriousness though, I will openly accept criticism, suggestions and what not, as I want to make this as enjoyable for you guys to read, as it is for me to play and write.

Oh and I am currently beginning my first semester of college (well community college that is) and the workload may just overtake this AAR...maaaaayy. First update should be sometime in the next couple days. I have the first 20+ years done, but apparently 11th century rulers lived longer than their 14-19th century counterparts, go figure.

Now to go conquer all the land in sight...

Good luck with this (and with college as well).
