Sounds interesting. I'll pay attention to this one.

Part 1 - Nationalism, is it really that great?

March 5th, 1937
Seville, Germany

It was a beautiful morning in the town of Seville. Merely 3 weeks earlier, this city was the last place where the troops of Republican Spain put up a fight. They were no match for Germanys finest tanks and soldiers. Overlooking the beautiful streets, John sat outside a café, drinking his morning coffee and reading the newspaper.

Right next to him sat 4 German NCOs on permission. John knew very little German, but he could hear them talking about how great Spain is.

He turned to them.

"Sprechen Sie Englisch?" he said, with a very American accent.

They looked at him, and one of them answered.

"Yes, I studied English at the university."
"Ah, great. How are things back in Germany?"

He became happier than ever.

"Great! We've got our economy back on track and everyone has jobs. Hitler has done a very good job."
"What about the army?"
"After the Versailles treaty, we can't have a big army, nor tanks. But Hitler doesn't seem to care."

John, having finished his coffee, stood up and thanked the German NCOs for their time and wished them the best of luck in the future. As he left the café, he couldn't help thinking how a Nationalist party in the US would help the country…

Albeit, it was True, The Wehrmacht was growing, growing larger, new Panzer divisions ordered, new Infantry Divisions conscripted, new airplanes manufactured, new ships assembled, it would be enough, Or so the Reichstag hoped.

The Re-Occupation of the Rhineland was the first step of Germany's rise, and it met stiff diplomatic resistance from the Allied Powers, but they did nothing, nothing, and Germany grew more powerful, under their very noses.

The Reich Even Stepped away from its dependency on Swedish Steel, A Deal, Shipping 52 Tons of Coal From Hamburg to New York, And 52 Tons of Steel From Charlotte, in the United States to Wilhelmshaven, and industry prospered, and every day, the USA saw the world through the eyes of Hitler, Germany and the USA, close, albeit before 1938.

And Yes, The Spanish Civil War, and One the Reich Would Profit From, Only Soviet Support Made it to the Republicans, and it would not be enough, German Aid arrived, along with 2 Expeditionary Forces, Field Marshall Von Leeb, Leading the X Armeekorps, Alongside the I Panzerarmee Under Field Marshal Kucher And The 1st Corps Under Field Marshall Von Manstein, all landing and assisting the Nationalists, Madrid Fell, Valencia, Nationalist Spain Finnaly Granted Germany the Military Access it required, The Expeditionary Forces Returned To The Control of Germany, The Initiative was Taken, and war erupted between The Third Reich and Republican Spain, And Barcelona Was Promptly Occupied, By The 1st Corps.

December 1937, Cartagena Occupied, January 1938, Almería Occupied, Then Malaga, Republican Spain Fell, and all the while, Germany stole the very provinces it had promised to help deliver to the Nationalists, February Granada And Seville, And Then, it Ended, And The Nationalists Annexed what they had. And The German Reich Settled into its occupation of Southern Spain, And Barcelona.

Seville To Spandau, The Reich Was Sworn to stretch first.

Occupation of southern Spain? Interesting, it looks like you'll have some good bases in the Med to fight off the Brits.
But shouldn't UK declare war if someone attacks Nationalist Spain? Now I'm a bit confused.

To Clear it Up, I gave the Nationalists expeditionary forces so they could win much more easily, i then gained military access and then handed the expeditionary forces back to myself, and declared war on the republicans, in the name of Nazism and all that jazz, i took Barcelona by accident, actually, the troops arriving literally just after i declared war, but it provides a good base for the Kriegsmarine, And in the scrabble between me and the nationalists to kill the republicans, i managed to gain control of southern spain before they annexed the republicans, means i can just purge the brits out of Gibraltar, too.
