I am currently trying to make a slower FTL drive. I started with Warp (edited in defines) and made its speed 0.01 to test the speed of the drive. However when I did test it, the fleet never arrived in the system I sent it to. I'm at a loss here and am not sure how to fix the issue.

Are you sure you let enough time pass? I mean, you did increase the travel time with a factor of 20. So if the journey took 30 days before it'd take 600 days now.
Otherwise i'd suggest upping the speed a little.

I waited ten years until I just gave up. :L I'm fiddling around atm, seeing if I can fix the issue with some combination of things but anyone who has more info would be great.

Well this is discouraging. I was hoping to set the base warp speed to the Clausewitz minimum of 0.001 to create a slower than light drive that took 12.5 years for a max range warp jump. Does anyone know what the minimum useable speed value is?

Testing indicates that 0.002 is the slowest working base warp speed settable in the defines. This gives 6.25 game years for a max distance warp, or about 7c if the distance unit is a light year. Awful fast for the slower than light drive I wanted. OTOH, there's a few stars missing from game galaxies too, so we do the best we can.

Edit: That's the slowest you can make a ship MOVE. But if their speed is less than 0.0315, they get stuck outside the destination system.
