I do not no why but HoI2 no longer is full screen. It has black margins on the sides now. I did not mess with any settings no idea how this happened. Is there anyone to make it full screnn again?

I fired up Victoria 1 to play and found that it does th same thing. Has black bars on the sides 
What resolution has your PC? Though, it isn't a bug or a graphic problem, the same thing happens to me, I think it depends on the resolution of the screen.
It seems that when I downloaded an update for my video card it reset its settings and that was what was causing it

same problem . I tried to upgrade/also downgrade my gpu drivers but that didn't do the job . Still i somewhat blame my radeon (5xxx series) , since my 2nd comp. with gtx260gs gpu , does not have any problems adjusting the resolution to full screen.
i guess ill remain optimistic that one day, my game will stop being grumpy and will return in its full, full screen glory .
