Is this still the case in 4.0 Biogenesis? Because I Totally agree
Synth Queen is the only reason i never bored to buy Machine Age
Fallen empires together with crisis mechanics are my favorite things about stellaris since 1.0, and this just spoil everything if its all i've read about.
I like putting "all crisis" on and dont like the idea of having not fallen empires anywhere at any point
For what i've read, she is so bumped up with +100% damage against FE, and then we get lot of buffs to beat her, all of this sounds so artificialy made.
It seems they've tried to make a Super Duper Mega Galaxy Changing Crisis, instead of adding content and rearranging base mechanics to make all equally relevant. This to appeal for the hardcore cheese players that tought crisis was easy even on 25 because they was alt tabbing an excel sheet to squeeze the most numbers of every mechanic, but it really went sideways in my opinion.
The 3 base crisis are forgotten in comparison to her now (and at my view the 3 of them are much more interesting)...
Just let us choose wich crisis (and maybe FEs) appear ingame, this would solve a lot of things
Hope this post gets more attention because that's the reason i stop playing.
Love the idea of biogenesis expansion (waited 10 years for a decent bio hive mind playthrought), but seems it got a really bad launch, and they are keeping planning more and more for the sake of Season Pass selling, without delivering the basics
AI revamp, Bio revamp, Shroud revamp, infernal species, 4.0 full overhaul...
For god sake, stop planning 10 years ahead for your bottomline and focus on the art of developing videogames...
Anyway, sorry for hijacking this post to spit out my frustrations, maybe it will get more attention at least...
Hope this, and a lot of things get better, Stellaris is my favorite space game and it feels it's dying softly since machine age, and im demotivated from buying any more half patched DLC until they get back on their tracks (wich was excelent before machine age)
