While in recent moths the game has been scaled down significantly, the Dragon's Heart quest remains a bit of a mystery to me. There are two major problems with it:

1) Should I seek the help of the Ageless Child (which is the path I chose), I lose a hero (who does not appear in battle as a result), while the AI loses two measly units -- this is hardly a good deal, as my hero's powers significantly outweigh the strength of the two human units which the Sidhe lose. After I complete the Ageless Child side-quest, I might as well fold and go home, as now I am both relatively and literally even weaker than before.

2) The quest is available to me as early as turn 60+ to me, while it becomes void by turn 130 or so, when the Cataclysm happens. During this time period, my armies are hardly strong enough to tackle level 10 Unseelie Warriors and a full squad of lvl 6-9 Unseelie archers...Given the fact that in the last patch the armies of Samhain were actually nerfed (an oddity to me, because they were chump change in comparison to the Dragon's Heart army), I feel that the Dragon's Heart army's tank power needs to be revised as well.

I think a game like King Arthur needs some really though battles like this one, one that you can't win without (heavy) loses. Moreover you can skip it if you want. Last time i did it with hard difficulties, i had a oldfaith tyrant army, so 1 hero missing and at night most of the time, and most of my mundane units had a few soldiers alive at the end, but i was really happy to win (after several tries).

What I think you need to do is try playing this game on Hard difficulty...Besides, the quest has been toned down already (I suspect sometime between my last test-play and my post).
