Game closes

My game closes to windows frequently i hope
the gamemakers are working on a solution to this problem, the patch 1.05b didnt help at
all.

Hi.
I have the same problem.
Everything works great, then suddenly the game quits.
I have a Compaq 5900T
P3 733mhz
256mb ram
Tnt2 Ultra
Soundblaster Live
DirectX 8 beta
Win 98SE
The patch is installed.
It's a great game, so I hope there's a solution to this problem.

When the game quits to Windows, does it seem to happen when you do something special or does it seem totally random?

I'm not sure.
I've been playing as Sweden before, and it has crashed every time.
But tonight I played as France for 9 hours without a crash.

its the same thing for me, i play as sweden and after a couple of years my computer returns to windows

I have the same problem, but I noticed that it always seem to occur a few moments after annexing a minor.

I have windows 98, a Celeron 466 , Asus 7100
Geforce MX, 192 MB Ram. I play the swedes too
and it always seem to happen during a battle.

Patric, jag har samma problem - Men till skillnad från de andra så händer det nästa ENBART då jag ska storma en stad. Nåt jag märkt är att då jag först trycker på STORM så händer inget, men andra gången då jag försöker så hoppar jag ut till Windows igen. (inte alltid, men ofta!).

Jag sitter med den nyaste patchen förövrigt.

I'm still playing as France, but now I've got the same problem. It crashes all the time.
I have'nt noticed that it has to do with some special event though.

I got the same crashes, just pops out to windows. Have played it on both Win98 and WinME... it hung up more frequently on WinME, so now i'm back in win98... though haven't played it here yet.

i crashes randomly... but mostly in combat i think.

Too bad, it's such a good game beside that

Happens for me too. Not sure what triggers it though... It seems to happen during wars, and once when I tried to reload a game.

Same here although I'm positive that it's random while playing as England. It happens after a couple of hours of play (my wife hates EU...) which leads me to believe that it's some kind of memory bleed.

I have installed the game and patch 1.05bDE. The game closes every time after 5 seconds. I tried all the tips I could find on different forums without any success.

I just wanted to let you know that we are working on this and we have some problems reproducing the problem but we are going to try it on even more configurations.

I have to tell you that I installed the game with and without the patch. I have also tried different scenarios. But, after 5 seconds in a scenario the game closes.
I have plenty of disc space and memory and my computer is faster than some others, where I have seen the game running.

ok, same here. however i think the reasons being, if unpatched, the copyprotection of the CD (never could make it start at all while unpatched), and if patched, the sound! (strange as it may seem). with my standard SB Live 1024 i loose all sounds after 30min to 1,5 hours, after that i can play another hour or so before it crashes. this happens every game i play. Also, i seem to be able to play while having set time to 1min=4 or 8 months without crashes at all. my conifig:

Celeron 500 on ASUS P3B-F
128MB
TNT2 ultra card
SB Live! 1024
IBM Deskstar harddrive.
latest swedish patch.
