Just bought my game today and looked forward to play it. But I haven't been successful with paying this game since it continuously crashes my PC. It starts already with the intro with the golden elephant. If I don’t click or use Esc-button it freezes in that window. OK, that’s easy to advise, always click. But then we get to the trickier part of the problem, when I choose the Introduction scenario (play as Irish) it always freezes every time directly after my first click in the screen. This happens independently of where I click on the screen. Once this happens I can’t do anything with my PC, it’s completely dead. Nothing works, no Alt+Tab etc , and I need to reboot this damn thing. So here I’m has a great game that I can’t play. Please I need your help.

Did you update with the 1.05b patch?
Try to close down all resident programs like virus programs etc.

I hope that does the trick.

Emp

Sorry, I forgot to include some relevant information.
Yes I have updated with the patch and tried to close all resident programs. What I found is slightly different from yesterday but the problem still remains. It freezes in Fantasy and Introduction scenarios, however it is playable in “Complete Scenario/Fullständigt “. What concerns me is the continuously short screen freezes (has same effect as autosave), it is disturbing.
