Game Crash upon Ruler Death

Description​

I have been experiencing crashes upon my ruler death in my current saves, after the new Lance Update 1.9.0.4. My run is fairly far, with an 867 start and is currently at 1118 AD, and with my ruler being very old in the 90s. It seems that the issue happens with others with the same conditions, an old ruler with an old campaign. I think it may occur in other instances, but that's how it's been happening in my case.

Steps to reproduce​

Wait until old ruler dies, then game crashes.

Same as well my man, I also found another forum thread with others experiencing the same issue of crashing. It seems that it isn't restricted to my conditions, and are various since I've seen many different explanations on the forum and on other sites but it seems like it always ends with the game crashing after a ruler dies.

I was able to find temporary fix too, and it's to lower the game speed, but this issue should not be happening in the first place as max game speed is a key part of this game.
