My game is crashing all the time, since the new update.
I already texted with the support, but after he decided that he cant help me, he sended me here so...

In The error log it is mentioned that the problem is something with the interest groups.

If you provide more information someone might have suggestions but so far all I am seeing is 'it is broken'.

By recent patch do you mean the beta release (1.3.4)?
Did you start a new game or continued an old save?
Are you running any mods?

I still played on the 1.3.3 version of the game, i dont run any mods and it is always. Starting a new game, loading a save. The problem still appears after de- and reinstalling of the game. I also mentioned it to the support, but he couldnt help me...

Please do a full clean re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-Vic3
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/Victoria3 AND Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3 folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- add Victoria3.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam Victoria3 or Documents Victoria3 locations, before installing again.

If those don't help:
DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3/pdx_settings.json .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log , exceptions.log

I already wrote about that with the support. The clean re-install didnt worked for me.
And i already sended the support the folder you want me to send. He told me i should write a forum post about it, because he could not help me anymore.

But today i could fix my issue, because i needed to reinstall windows. Im not totally sure if it is working or not, but it did for atleast 10 to 20 ingame years without any crashes.
The reinstallation of windows, did not effect the victoria3 data on my pc, because they were not touched in any way.

The errors in that log are a worry, I don't get any of those in a test run here. Are you sure there were no files or folders left under either the Steam Victoria3 or Documents Victoria3 locations, before installing again?

What checksum do you see in the main game menu? Anything except 66d6 means you do need to do that clean reinstall AND make 100% sure there and no mods involved.

We see no crashes in this game in that dxdiag. That and the lack of an exceptions.log points to issues outside the game, unfortunately. You may as well update that AMD driver to the latest

If that doesn't help: I don't recommend this often, but that bios is from 2018 - can you check for an available update?

Yes im sure I deleted all files that are relatet to Victoria3, i also deleted my cloud so I could be sure about it.

I sended a new version of my DxDiag, this one is the old i sended the support 4 days ago, maybe that will help.
I played on 66d6 without mods, i joined a multiplayer lobby back then, so i guess it was the right version of the game.

My drivers arent telling me, that they need an update, checked it today and back then already.

In additon i attached the old error.log

We do now see crashes in this game - weird they were not there before. Also in Discord.

Make a new Windows user on this machine and log into it with that. Do you get the same problem there?
