I'm playing with 1.2 and am having problems with the game continually crashing after about 20-30 years of playing time. I have no problems loading or anything like that. The game just stops responding and I have to reboot my pc and go back to the last save.

I attached the dx file.

When you load from the last save, does it go past the point where it hung before?

Can we see your settings.txt and system.log files please.

No need. I believe its a video card overheating issue. I checked the temp after it went down and it was 64c which is over the limit for my card.

Yup. Like other PI games, Rome drives the video card very hard. I hope you find a fix, such as adjusting the fan speeds, clearing dust out of the vents, reducing the game resolution, or what ever it takes to enjoy the game!
