Game crashes about 30 sec into playing

When i load a game, i get about 30 sec or so of playing time after which the game just crashes. It used to crash before, but now it just crashes every 30 sec.
Win Xp home edition
Servica Pack 2
Radeon 9800 pro
1 gig ram
3.2 gig cpu
Sound Blaster Audigy 2

If you start a new game does it stil crash every 30 Secs, or only when you load your current game?

When i load a current game. Please dont tell me i have to start a new game, this one has been far far to good to just abandon.

Well sounds like that one is corupted.
What about when you load the autosave or the Oldautosave ?

Ok the autosave works. But now as soon as i set up vichy france the game starts crashing again. This is really annoying. Is this a known bug, and is there any way to fix it?

I have nothing to do with bugs, so I could not tell you.
Do you have 1.1 installed?
Try seting it up save the game right away, then exit the game reboot and then play on.
