Game crashes after a few minutes

Hey guys,

at first I want to say thanks for this awesome mod! I discoverd it yesterday and it is awesome and worked fine but today my game crashes every 2-10 minutes. I have not changed anything and there is no error message just the message "CK2 stopped working".
I could't find anything in the bugfix section.

I hope you can help me, I want to go back in to the game

Were you at war when the crash happened? If so, do this:

Here is a temporal bugfix, it should solve the crashes at battles. Copy over to the CK2 mod folder and replace.

Yes, I was defending against a Holy War. I go check if it helped

Try keeping your game's speed to 4 or below - Lux is very heavy on modifiers and other things that the game needs to check on often, and running it at max speed can cause it to mess up and crash (it uses too many resources, and so on). Try running it slower for a while and see if that doesn't help.

I was getting a lot of crashes (sometimes 3 per month while at war) before I applied the fix that DarkReborn linked. Now, I only play on speed 1 or 2 and I crash maybe once every 30 hours of playtime.

I also did the IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS on the main post, though I'm not sure how much that helped since I have a 64-bit system with 16GB of RAM, anyway.

Could be the running speed. I've only got 4GB RAM on my PC.

Same here,the game begin to CTD often after 30 years or so.I applied the hotfix and did the instrunctions,but isn't working.
