Game crashes at certain dates, while it paused no.
No mods, unsubscribed from Steam Workshop, tried everything, reinstalling Visual C++, integrity files, reinstalling the game, even tried on a new windows profile to see if there are some windows settings messed up.
In the crash report I can see: unhandled exception
I can understand some minor bugs at release, compilation errors etc but FIX THIS, FOR A 20$ DLC IT SHOULD BE AT LEAST PLAYABLE, WHICH AT THIS STATE IT IS NOT

Current game (attached) for me is crashing on December 5th, 1486. The first time I got the actual crash pop-up. Upon restarting from auto-save the game now just decides to freeze when that day comes around.

For reference I started this with just the patch then after about 20 years or so figured out I hadn't installed the DLC and did so.

Same issue, crash occurs in May 1507 (as Kale). Error log states following (anybody have the same exception?):

Well I just created an account because of this, since I have no idea about debugging crashes in this game. Good to know I wasn't alone lol.

Playing as a Japanese nation without DLCs or mods, crashing constantly the 2nd of November 1502.
I've spectated and messed around with other nations in case something was wrong with a war and no luck

So after fucking around for hours, i loaded the game through eu4.exe amd was able to take this screenshot just a second before it crashed

this could be the issue for a lot of us

so anyone have an idea to fix it??



btw. i changed before that to republic so maybe thats causing the problem??

i revoked both priviligia for nobilty, but it sil crashes

By the way, that crashing save of mine does not crash anymore with the new patch. So decent job releasing a better product the day after.
 
Even if that was a fix, might as well not play the game if I don't have my message settings. I have hundreds of personalized things, imagine not having popup pauses for armies engaging or sieges finishing, dear lord.
