Hi.

Went back to the game on an old save after some time "off". Up-to-date drivers, Vista SP1 and patch 1.1!

Time before game crashes varies, however, have noticed it tends to be when I use the diplomacy button. The window comes up, then the game freezes and eventually CTD.
