Game crashes when attempting to launch Scions of Flame transformation.

Description​

On completing the casting of the Scions of Flame minor transformation and attempting to launch the transformation, the game crashes before proceeding to the transformation preview screen.

I have other transformations in this game, so it seems to be something specific to Scions of Flame rather than transformations in general, although it is possible that something has changed in a recent update. (Or that Scions of Flame doesn't like one of my existing transformations, although they should be compatible...)

Steps to reproduce​

1) Load attached save
2) Open spell interface
3) Select the completed Scions of Flame spell
4) Praise Meandor's name

Something else that struck me was that there was a Windows update since the last time I played, that might be a contributing factor.

Update: Noticed that there was a graphics driver update earlier this week and installed that. Still happening. It also crashes when clicking on the notification that Scions of Flame is ready, bypassing the spell interface window completely.

Update 2: Hrrrmn, turns out it'll also crash if I cast something else to pause Scions of Flame and just keep playing without it. Dump file AOW4_Crash_2025-05-15-05-23-46_ED894288.tcd

Will try cancelling the transformation and see what happens.

Update 3: Turns out cancelling the transformation does not prevent an end turn crash. Don't know if it's the same cause, or two separate causes that happen to be coinciding. Will attach a second save - reproduction for the end turn crash is simply "press the end turn button, wait for the game to crash".

Update 4: Tried going back and replaying the last few turns without starting Scions of Flame. End turn crash still happens on the same turn.
