I am having an issue where my game keeps crashing whenever I click on the religion tab. I have all major DLC installed and tested with no mods. I have tried some of the suggestions I found online to no avail.

I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I wiped out my entire Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II folder as well.

I have added the crusader Kings II install folder to my anti-virus exceptions list.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?
