Game crashes when I annex the Netherlands

Now in 1940 I have found a way for Germany to annex the netherlands. I capture everything needed. I can annex other nations (tested on luxemburg) and when i tried to capture Netherlands my game freezes and goes black. Which is odd for I have annexed the netherlands in a previous game.

What could have caused this is unsure. I patched, and repatched, and patched teh 1.3b. Only mods I have is the no death general mod, also I did for a moment have the naval balance mod, but removed those folders, so nothing was changed there, but it happened around that time. I loaded back after a comptuer restart, still happens. Loaded an auto save played a few days into it, and it happened yet again. Please help.

could it be something corrupted? I not sure if I can find my HOI2 disk again so quickly for a reinstalation. Only related to annexation of Netherlands thus far.

My point was it sounds like you are trying to report a bug, and this is not a bug reporting forum and I have nothing to do with bugs. Also you cannot report bugs unless you have encountered them with a vanilla install, that is you do not have any user made mods or edits to the game. Read the sticky threads for details.

I also had the same problem, with Republican Spain, and solved it by manually annexing them by editing the save file.

That's the only thing that worked unfortunatly

I used a mod, so I didn't think I could post it in a bug reporting or tech support forum.

And here's my post on what I did to resolve the problem:

It worked!!!

I copied the ownedprovinces from SPR to the ownedprovinces from GER and to the controlledprovinces from GER too (avoiding doubles). The owned and controlledprovinces list was then the same
Then deleted the entire reference of SPR.

Still think it's something strange, and most likely 1.3 related (events aren't checked until 0.00, and you can't change anything about annexing)

Oh I was not aware you used a mod, in that case the report would not be valid.
