Whenever I start the game, I get to the Main Menu where it CTD whenever I click New Game. I have all the DLC selected and turned off all mods. I have the GPU setting on Nvidia Geforce GTX and updated both the Paradox Launcher and my drivers. I also have excluded imperator.exe from my antivirus scans (McAfee). All the crash logs and my dxdiag file are attached below.

From that error log you have a number of problem mods. Do you still get this if you disable all mods in the game's launcher?

Yes I still get the crash with all mods turned off.

Please do a full **clean** re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-Imperator
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/Imperator AND Documents/Paradox/Imperator folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- add imperator.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular you need to make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam Imperator or Documents Imperator locations, before installing again.

If that doesn't help please attach new copies of all those files, thanks.

@AndrewT I first unsubscribed from all mods and then deleted the Imperator folder in My Documents. Once I restarted the game, I was able to start a game with no problems, once with just vanilla and then with just my updated mod. Thanks for the help and feel free to close this thread.
