Game crashes when I reach March 2 541

Hello,

I have the lastest update (2.2 patch) and the game crashes at March 2 541, I am playing Pontus. Any ideas how to remedy this? I tried reloading different saves but get the same error.

Was this game started fresh from 2.2, or under 2.1? If the latter, try deleting the FILES ONLY in the Rome /map/cache/ folder. Also, you might check for the NoCulturegroup bug in the sticky post above.

How do I edit the same game file? Do I use another program to open it?


(Its a fresh game and I already tried deleting the Rome /map/cache/ folder and that didn't work.)

Open the save game file with notepad.exe, that comes with Windows.
