Game crashes when loading a save.

Some time ago I started a new campaign. I was 100 years in, when one day I wanted to load the save and the game crashed. It just suddenly turned off without a warning. I tried loading previous saves from the same campaign, but the same thing happened. I even tried copying the save and load it on a different computer, but again the same happened.

I've been playing with the following mods: Revolutionary Borders Mod, Revolutionary Waters Mod, Bigger Interface and Visible Health and Fertility. I tried loading the save with the mods off, but again nothing.

Does anybody have a solution?

Disabling mods does not remove effects they have already had on the saved game file.

So over to UM we go!
