game crashes with fatal error

Hello,

i installed hearts of iron dooms day applied it to 1.3 patch even when i dont it crashes. i get a fatal error : (could not intialize video) any ideas ? my video card is 8800 gt. hearts of iron 2 works fine also.

Try renaming the avi folder something else. I'm assuming it crashes when you try to open DD?
