Make sure no other display device is active. you can do that under advanced options of your video card control.

I'm at my moms house now, which has MY computer at it, and the game is working fine. I guess I just won't be able to play it 2 nights a week, at my dads house.

Have a close look at the process running on the one that works, then when you go back to the one that does not work you can see if anything looks like it can be shut down.
