not having the game crashing

Actual Result​

game either crashed when loading a saved game or new game. sometimes even crashes on startup.

open a saved game
start a new game
launch the game

Description​

I have all 75% of the dlc installed

and I literally have 2 mods both traffic related. And yes I tried with the mods turned off and the still crashed.

it was mentioned on steam to increase my virtual memory for the game. Which is now set to the highest it goes and I'm getting crashes.

the only that might be an issue is that I'm running the game on external gaming harddrive. which is the only way I was able to increase the virtual memory for the game.

I'm just really looking for some help. This game used to run just fine for me until the last 2 updates. I've logged 100s of hours in the game and now it can't run.

I don't use a lot of custom assets, I maybe have ~25 I use.

Please gather both these two informational files, and attach them here:

DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

IF dxdiag.txt fails to attach here, rename it to dxdiag.log , or zip it up.

The game has run out of available memory, and I suspect Windows has exhausted its swap space. Please:

- expand your Windows paging file maximum size to 32gb

Optional: Increasing the paging file size on Windows computers

On computers that have 8 GB of RAM, the suggested paging file size is 16 GB.

- unsubscribe from any mods and assets you don't actually need or use - they all consume memory all the time, even when not in use in the current city
- exit every other app you can before starting the game.
