Game crashing after several minutes of gameplay. Xbox one (possibly related to new tourism update)

Hey guys! I posted this in another thread related to the new tourism updated but that all for PC so I’m posting it again here in case this thread makes a difference as I am on console


Running into issues on Xbox One. Played an existing save game and it crashes within minutes of playing. Wasn’t an issue yesterday (As of 10pm on March 14). I do play with mods (choggi and Silva mostly) and have never had any issues. Today (March 15) however I noticed that the warnings for disabled mods (content restrictions) are no longer popping up (This isn’t an issue just an observation As I get that mods may come and go). As I assumed I would be prompted to Remove mods, I starting looking into my mod list And noticed that every mod is now in a new order (Although still there and selected) but that the available Mods are now limited to three cat mods by some Tomas guy - last checked about three days ago and there were hundreds available.

I haven’t tried a new game yet as I am working on an achievement that is only minutes from completing... however with these crashes the game is unplayable and I can’t even get more than 2 minutes into my save game.

playing on Xbox one (don’t know what I for you guys need for consoles but I do keep it up to date and there are no updates for S.M)

I am also experiencing the above problem as of 15th March. I'm running the game on a Series X with no mods but my saves all crash after 2-3 mins as of today, game is currently unplayable

Me too, though I'm getting to early mid game before I'm dashboarded

Same issue here, on series x. Building any wonder or building smaller domes at full game speed. I noticed I can build smaller domes with game speed 1x and it dosnt crash sometimes. Also the out of bounds, couldn't flatten land but was able to flatten it with large dumping sights and removing them. I just bought full version of game and all dlc yesterday after playing on game pass forever, sucks these issues just so happened to be at the time I got the full game lol. Guess I can't terraform my first map yet until a fix. At a point in game where I need to make the mohole.

Something I noticed and I experimented heavily last night is once the green planets dlc is installed I can’t go anywhere past small or breakthrough domes/ small lakes without it crashing. However deleting it let me build mega and wonder architecture.

That’s a shame, the green planet dlc is amazing. I really hope they get this fixed soon, the wait is killing me

The patch is done and just waiting on xbox to verify and put it though.
