First time i played on 2nd september or 1st septmeber i managed to play for 2 hours without crashing , i completed the whole tutorial and then some. i exited the game afterwards.

1 or 2 days later (did not play long sessions in the meantime ) crashes started happening , first it ran for like 30-40 mins , but now it kinda most often crashes in the first 5-10 minutes, with rare exceptions

gtx 970 (base 1329 , my oc: 1450-1500)
i5 4690k
8gb ddr3 1866
hdd WD Blue

Crash is freeze, and after 2-10 seconds black screen while music is playing and i can sometimes hear interface sounds: example: scrolling over a piece of interface like a title or county

EDIT: ok so it seems that when i START the game when my gpu is overclocked , then i have crashes/black screens.
Funny thing is that if i start the game with base Gpu settings , and later , in game adjust clock speeds , game runs fine and i get 18-30 fps boost from the OC

some potentially useful info: my gpu usage is 100% zoomed in, 40+% zoomed out
Cpu is 85% on average on speed 5 and 40% on speed 1/0

I was getting exactly the same pattern of freezing, except crashing much more frequently; worse with higher graphics setting, set to max crashed within seconds. Also resolved when I dropped my overclock.
GTX 1080ti
Ryzen 7 1700X
32GB DDR4

Dropping the GPU overclock from 2102MHz core/6014MHz memory down to 2062MHz core/5812MHz memory seems to have fixed it completely.

Looks like CK3 is a better stability test than seeing if FurMark crashes my PC

Thanks very mush for the finding! I've passed it onto the developers; not sure if everyone getting those
The GPU device instance has been suspended. Use GetDeviceRemovedReason to determine the appropriate action.
errors is OCing but it's worth looking into.

I've been having the same problem as well. It just crashed, actually, but I couldn't upload the error. Same crash, same cause in the error.log
But, as far as I know, I removed any overclocking on my GPU a few weeks ago, so idk why it's happening
I'm hoping this gets fixed soon
