I post this here since this is a problem related to my Settling Accounts mod, but to vanillaAoD.
All I changed between a fully working version of that mod and the current one were some new events (none of them triggering on January 2, 1936). The problem: The game does not move past January 2, 00:00. With any nation. It does not freeze, I can do anything declare war, start production lines, click on everything etc. The clock just stays at 00:00.

Has anyone ever encountered that before?

EDIT: I found the reason... kind of. If you have a look at the attached txt files, you'll find a larger group of events at the end of the HT_mod2 file called "City capture events" and another event named "France defends Paris" at the end of the HT-ai file. If I remove those, the game runs fine. Why?

My answer will be so unsure that it may not help you at all but I think I had this happen once to me, some long time ago. It was connected with events and I think I might have ommited an "offset = x" setting somewhere or entered it wrong.

The problem starts on event 919622 ("Atlanta has been captured").

The reason? No idea...

Also there's a bug in event 919612 that was firing to France instead of Russia.

For me, even deleting everything below the Atlanta event didn't do it. :( Maybe AoD doesn't like the event numbers? I changed the one of the "France defends Paris" event, but that didn't work. Didn't change all the other events, though.

Fixed.

I've tryed to change the event numbers, didn't work.

If it's not the Atlanta event, try the one below. Maybe I saw the wrong event. :p

The devs could help here... Try to talk with them.
