Game does not Start launcher reinstall did not help

Hello Guys,

When I start the game via Steam it takes a couple seconds and the play button appears again.
I can start the game via the .exe file in the folder, but I want to play via launcher and use mods.

I tried reinstalling the launcher, clearing the files, reinstalling the game but nothing helped.

If they don't help,
DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

I used the net repair kit and reinstalled the latest version

Did you do the SCANNOW process as well?

The Windows 80000003 we see against the launcher in that dxdiag means a Checkpoint Exception. But in what? If it were in the launcher itself you'd expect everyone to see this problem.

Anyway given the mention of the GPU let's do a clean upgrade of the nVidia driver to the new one released a few days ago.

Uninstall it with this

Reboot, then install that later one

and reboot again.

Unload GeForce Experience if it is running, then try the game/launcher again.

I used the Scannow as well yes

also cleaned out Nvidia and installed latest driver with the tools prvided.

Afterwards I deinstalled Stellaris and the Launcher and reinstalled Stellaris. The Launcher was installed on first launch of the game but....

Issue remains :/

Should i put up the logs again?

This may need a Windows reinstall or reset to clean up. But first, try making a new Windows user on this machine and log into it with that - do you get that same problem and error code there?

Set up a win10 virtual machine and it works. So I have a workaround until i set up the system anew.
