Game doesn't run

Hi,

I've just purchased Darkest Hour from GamersGate, downloaded ok, installer starts fine and runs. But when I go to start the game, all I get is an error message that reads;

Darkest Hour Launcher.exe - Application Error

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click OK to terminate the application.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and knows how to resolve it? I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times already! I've have Windows XP and all the required specs by the way.

What is your display resolution?

Try to run the game directly form Darkest Hour.exe (you can find it in the folder where the game is installed)

Cheers, that worked. Don't know why it doesn't start from the shortcut the installer placed in the start menu or the desktop. Its now been replaced though.

Good to know the game runs for you now.
Here is a new version of the Launcher that fixes some crash problems. Please test it and let me know if it works for you too.
