Game doesn't start

Hello, I've got a problem with East India Company.

I'm not english, but iI hope you will understand me.

I've installed the game and all patches, but it still doesn't work.
when I start the game, I get an error.
I think my computer is good enough.

I've got Vista.
I've got 2,4 GHz, 2 GB RAM, GeForce 8600GT and everything else on the list in the manual, but the game doesn't work at all.
I've read some of the other Threads, but I couldn't fix the error.

I hope anybody can help me.

Please tell us more about the error you get.

Also, please post the log.html from the folder the game is installed to.

sorry, I fixed it. I only had to change some options in my computer.
I don't know how to say it in english, in german you say:
Ich habe mein Desing auf Klassisch gestellt(Desing von Windows98).
I changed the computerdesing (of the desktop usw.)
I hope you understand what I mean.
